A report Friday said that De Los Santos had been released, but evidently that was false. The left-hander posted a 5.22 ERA at Double-A this season but boasts a career 13.6 K/9 rate in the minors.

LAD Starting Pitcher #7

Blake Snell (shoulder) is scheduled to make a rehab start for Wednesday for Low-A Ontario.

Snell’s appearance will be his first official rehab start as he works his way back from shoulder fatigue that has sidelined him for all of 2026. The 33-year-old southpaw will likely need to make at least a couple of these before he’s ready to go, but assuming no setbacks, he should be back at some point in May.

MIA Left Fielder #5

Christopher Morel (oblique) is beginning a rehab assignment Tuesday with Triple-A Jacksonville.

As expected, Morel is beginning his rehab assignment for his left oblique strain with the Jumbo Shrimp. The 26-year-old has been shelved since just before the start of the regular season, and he’ll likely need a handful of games at least before getting a chance to play for Miami.

Daniel Johnson

HOU Center Fielder #56

Astros selected the contract of OF Daniel Johnson from Triple-A Sugar Land.

Johnson was just signed to a minor league contract by the Astros on Sunday, and now the 30-year-old will get a chance to help the Houston bench after Taylor Trammell was placed on the injured list with a groin strain.

Astros placed OF Taylor Trammell on the 10-day injured list with a left groin strain.

Trammell was removed from Monday’s game against the Guardians with the groin injury, and imaging revealed the strain. The 28-year-old will get a chance to recover on the injured list and will be out for at least a couple of weeks.

Jarren Duran

BOS Left Fielder #16

Jarren Duran is not in the lineup against the Yankees on Tuesday.

Duran is not in the lineup even with a right-hander on the mound for the Yankees in Luis Gil. The 29-year-old has scuffled to begin the season with just a .497 OPS, and it’s possible he’s going to continue to lose playing time until things pick back up. He’s also been the subject of trade rumors for the last 14 seasons or so, give or take a few.

Kutter Crawford

BOS Starting Pitcher #50

Kutter Crawford has been shut down from throwing due to irritation in his right flexor tendon.

The bad news is Crawford won’t be able to throw for a bit. The good news is that an MRI came back clean, so there’s no structural damage. There should be an update on just how long Crawford will be shut down from throwing in the coming days.
