Nick Fortes slugged his fourth home run of the season on Monday night, accounting for the Marlins’ lone tally in a loss to the Mariners.
Fortes tagged Mariners’ right-hander Bryce Miller for his 409-foot (102.4 mph EV) solo shot in the fifth inning -- trimming the Marlins’ deficit to five runs at 6-1. That would be his only hit in three at-bats on the night. For the season, the 26-year-old catcher is now slashing .231/.280/.328 with four homers and 13 RBI.

Shohei Ohtani hit a leadoff homer and drew two walks in a loss to the Rangers on Sunday.
This makes back-to-back games for Ohtani hitting leadoff dingers, with this one coming off Jacob deGrom. He’s now hit five homers over 15 games — a 54-homer pace — and he’s slashing a very Ohtani-like .286/.425/.571. Special stuff.

Evan Carter hit a solo homer in a victory for the Rangers over the Dodgers on Sunday.

Jakob Junis held the Dodgers scoreless to get the save for the Rangers on Sunday.

Roki Sasaki gave up two runs over four innings with six strikeouts in a loss versus the Rangers on Sunday.
  • TEX Starting Pitcher #48
Jacob deGrom struck out nine over six innings of one-run baseball to get the win in a 5-2 victory for the Rangers on Sunday over the Dodgers.
  • SD Center Fielder #3
Jackson Merrill homered and stole a base in a win for the Padres on Sunday over the Rockies.
  • SD Left Fielder #5
Ramón Laureano hit a two-run homer in a win over the Rockies on Sunday.
Laureano blistered a two-run shot off Valente Bellozo for his fourth homer of the young season. He also scored a pair of runs, and the 31-year-old has looked very comfortable hitting at the top of the San Diego lineup. Fantasy managers may want to jump on the Loreano train now, there’s enough upside/previous production to believe he can be an effective option throughout 2026.
  • SD 1st Baseman #25
Ty France went 3-for-3 with a homer in a 7-2 rout of the Rockies on Sunday.
France also doubled along with a single for the three-hit knock. The 31-year-old has his first homer of the campaign in his return to the Padres, and his first RBI for good measure. France was once among the better first-base options in fantasy circles, but he’s not someone who can be counted on in formats at this stage of his career. Sunday was a fun reminder of what once was, however, and it’s not out of the question the 31-year-old has a bounceback campaign in 2026.
  • CWS Starting Pitcher #48
Jonathan Cannon left Sunday’s appearance against the Royals with right hip irritation.
Cannon threw just 2-of-14 pitches for strikes and walked three batters before being pulled with the injury. The 25-year-old was just called up to work in a bulk role, but now a trip to the injured list seems far more likely than not.
  • SEA Center Fielder #44
Julio Rodríguez went 2-for-4 with an RBI and stolen base in a win over the Astros on Sunday.
Rodríguez drove in a run with a bases-loaded walk in the third inning. His steal is the first of the season, and assuredly not the last after forging a 30/30 season in 2025. He’s started to pick things up, and fantasy managers should do anything but panic about his .194/.286/.258 slash.
