  • ATH Shortstop #2

Nick Allen went 0-for-3 on Sunday, leaving him 8-for-52 since his recall on July 4.
Allen is a fine defender, but there’s just not much hope of offense here. He’s batting .182/.230/.221 in 169 plate appearances this season, giving him a .514 OPS in 157 games since he debuted last year. There’s no harm in the A’s keeping him in the lineup for now, but finding a shortstop of the future has to be a priority for the A’s, especially with 2021 first-round pick Max Muncy continuing to disappoint.
  • NYY Relief Pitcher #72

Yankees promoted RHP Eric Reyzelman to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
Reyzelman was tremendous in Double-A for the Yankees in 2024 and even appeared in big league spring training, but struggled in 2025 and then underwent a microdiscectomy following the season. The Yankees started him at Double-A this year, coming off the surgery, and he has posted a 3.12 ERA and a 48.5 percent strikeout rate over 17.1 innings. He can hit triple digits with his fastball and could push for his MLB debut over the summer.
Seager's injury opens door for Durán, Foscue
Eric Samulski explores what Corey Seager's trip to the 10-day injured list means for the Rangers and fantasy managers, where attention could turn to Ezequiel Durán and Justin Foscue.
  • NYM Relief Pitcher #62
The Mets selected the contract of LHP Anderson Severino; optioned him to Triple-A Syracuse.
Severino has posted a 1.04 ERA, 0.98 WHIP, and 18/8 K/BB ratio in 17 1/3 innings at Triple-A this season for the Mets. Rather than lose him to another team, the Mets decided to add him to the 40-man roster and then send him back to Triple-A. To free up space on the 40-man roster, the Mets transferred Clay Holmes to the 60-day IL.
  • NYM Right Fielder #40
Mets designated OF Austin Slater for assignment.
Slater was signed to the team at the end of April but only appeared in nine games for the Mets. On the season, he’s slashing .209/.286/.233 with a 31 percent strikeout rate in 49 plate appearances between the Mets and Marlins.
  • TEX Starting Pitcher #80
Kumar Rocker will be a bulk reliever on Tuesday, following Tyler Alexander as an opener.
It makes some sense. Rocker has allowed 18 runs this season, and 10 of them have come in the first inning. That’s an 11.25 ERA in the first frame. Perhaps giving him an easier start to the game will help to curtail his ratio struggles. It will also make it easier for him to pick up a win, so we do like this move for fantasy purposes.
  • BAL Relief Pitcher #65
Orioles optioned RHP Cameron Foster to Triple-A Norfolk
Foster came on in relief of Trevor Rogers on Monday night and allowed four runs on five hits in 1 1/3 innings of work. He’ll head back to the minors but will likely be shuttled back to Baltimore at some point this summer.
  • BAL Relief Pitcher #49
Orioles selected the contract of RHP Albert Suárez from Triple-A Norfolk
The Orioles bullpen has been taxed by some short starts of late, so they’re calling up Suárez to give them more length out of the pen. The 36-year-old has a 3.45 ERA in 15 2/3 innings for Baltimore this season in six relief appearances.
  • BAL Catcher #98
Orioles designated C Maverick Handley for assignment.
Handley was optioned to Triple-A on Monday and is now designated for assignment, so Baltimore could add relievers to their 40-man roster. He will likely clear waivers and could sign back with the Orioles.
  • MIN Relief Pitcher #45
Twins recalled RHP Travis Adams from Triple-A St. Paul
Adams has allowed three runs on six hits in 3 2/3 innings for the Twins this season. He’ll operate in bulk relief.
  • MIN Catcher #70
Twins recalled C Alex Jackson from Triple-A St. Paul
Jackson was hitting .239/.295/.511 in 95 plate appearances at Triple-A with seven home runs and 15 RBI. He will likely back up Victor Caratini, who now becomes a must-roster catcher in two-catcher leagues.
  • MIN Catcher #27
Twins placed C Ryan Jeffers on the 10-day injured list with a fractured hamate bone.
This is a brutal blow for Jeffers, who was having his best season ever. The 29-year-old was slashing .295/.408/.541 in 147 plate appearances with seven home runs and 26 RBI. He will be sidelined for a couple of months and could see his power diminished when he does return. Sadly, he doesn’t need to be held in fantasy leagues.
