Adam Duvall went 2-for-4 and hit a three-run homer Wednesday in the blowout loss to the Rangers.
The Red Sox actually took a 4-0 lead in this one, thanks to the first-inning homer from Adam Duvall and a solo shot from Bobby Dalbec in the second. The Rangers then scored the next 15 runs of the game to turn it into a laugher. Duvall’s homer was his first since Sept. 3. He came into this game 5-for-50 with 24 strikeouts in September. Before that, he was 18-for-39 with seven homers in the final 10 days of August. Before that, he was 10-for-53 in the first 20 days of August. So, yeah, he’s been kind of streaky.
