J.T. Realmuto went 2-for-3, drove in a pair of runs and swiped a base on Sunday night as the Phillies triumphed over the Mets.
The 32-year-old backstop opened the scoring in the ballgame with a two-run single off of Jose Butto in the fourth inning. He then rode home on a two-run blast by Nick Castellanos. Realmuto also singled in the second inning and swiped second base, but was left stranded there. With his two-hit attack, he’s now slashing .253/.310/.457 with 20 homers, 63 RBI and 16 stolen bases in what has been another outstanding all-around season.
