Francisco Lindor launched a pair of solo homers in the Mets’ loss to the Marlins in the second game of Wednesday’s doubleheader.

Lindor homered three times during Wednesday’s doubleheader against the Marlins, including a pair of solo shots off Miami starter Johnny Cueto in the nightcap affair, to become just the fourth player in Mets history to record a 30-homer, 30-steal season. He’s the first to accomplish the feat since David Wright back in 2007. He’s the third member of the 30-30 club this season and now has four 30-homer seasons under his belt.

Heasley threw four innings on Wednesday as the Rays were blown out by the Orioles, saving the rest of the bullpen. His reward is getting kicked off the roster. There’s got to be a better way to handle this. Assuming he clears waivers, Heasley has the option to declare free agency rather than accept an outright assignment to Triple-A Durham.

Carson Williams

Rays optioned INF Carson Williams to Triple-A Durham.

Williams filled in for Ben Williamson while Williamson dealt with a back issue that put him on the injured list. Williamson is back up, so Williams is back to Durham. Williams, who is hitting .100/.156/.133 in 33 plate appearances this year, has not exactly put up much of a fight to keep a roster spot in his limited chances this season.

Ben Williamson

TB 2nd Baseman #15

Rays activated INF Ben Williamson from the 10-day injured list.

Williamson’s return will put him back on a short-side of a platoon at second base with Richie Palacios for the moment. It’s possible he could draw some starts at shortstop in the short-term as Taylor Walls deals with a short-term injury.

Yunior Marte

CIN Relief Pitcher #43

Reds selected the contract of RHP Yunior Marte from Triple-A Louisville.

Marte has a 5.12 ERA in 20 appearances with the Bats, striking out 26 in 19 1/3 innings. The 31-year-old hasn’t pitched in the bigs since 2024 after spending 2025 with NPB’s Chunichi Dragons. With a career 5.64 ERA, we would be surprised if Marte did more than low leverage work with the Reds.

Graham Ashcraft

CIN Relief Pitcher #23

Reds placed RHP Graham Ashcraft on the 60-day injured list with a UCL sprain in his right forearm.

Not great. Ashcraft had just one save this year but has been part of a committee in the absence of Emilio Pagán. The committee will shrink. Ashcraft’s last outing was on Monday against the Mets. The 60-day placement will have him out until at least August, but we wouldn’t be surprised if this was a longer absence than that.

Braves recalled RHP Anthony Molina from Triple-A Gwinnett.

Molina provides Atlanta with a fresh arm heading into Friday’s series opener against the Reds. The 24-year-old threw a pair of scoreless appearances in his season debut earlier this month. He’ll operate in low-leverage spots out of the Braves’ bullpen.

Carlos Carrasco

ATL Relief Pitcher #59

Braves designated RHP Carlos Carrasco for assignment.

Carrasco has been jettisoned from Atlanta’s pitching staff after allowing two runs over four innings in a long relief outing against the Red Sox earlier this week. The 39-year-old is a strong bet to clear waivers and should wind up back at Triple-A Gwinnett as organizational depth until Atlanta needs him again.

Cole Henry

Nationals activated RHP Cole Henry from the 15-day injured list.

Henry provides Washington with some additional bullpen depth heading into Friday’s series opener against the Padres. The 26-year-old reliever is back after missing nearly seven weeks recovering from a rotator cuff strain. He made seven appearances for the Nationals prior to hitting the injured list last month.

Dairon Blanco

Rangers released OF Dairon Blanco.

Blanco heads to free agency after hitting .230/.324/.295 with seven steals in 73 plate appearances over 33 games for Triple-A Round Rock this season. The 33-year-old veteran outfielder hasn’t appeared in the big leagues since getting into nine games for the Royals last year. He should attract some interest as emergency outfield depth and a potential late-inning speed and defensive replacement on a postseason roster.
