The 30-year-old right-hander will take a solid 3.63 ERA, 1.10 WHIP, and a 69/21 K/BB ratio across 72 innings into a start against the Giants in San Francisco on Wednesday.

Friday’s blowup gives him a 5.71 ERA, 1.49 WHIP, and a 37/25 K/BB ratio across 58 1/3 innings. He’ll take on the Marlins in Miami on Thursday.

Bauers doubled to lead off the second inning and scored on a groundout. He later came up big in the late innings, knocking a base hit to drive in a run in the ninth before giving the team the lead with a two-run double in the tenth. The 30-year-old slugger is enjoying an excellent season with the Brewers, hitting .277/.361/.497 with 10 homers, 35 runs scored, and 39 RBI across 216 plate appearances.

Goodman drew a walk and stole second in the first inning for his fifth steal of the season. He then went yard with a solo homer off Brandon Sproat in the third. After the Brewers took a two-run lead in the top of the ninth, Megill was summoned to close things out in the bottom of the frame. He loaded the bases on three hits with one out, then walked in a run before a sacrifice fly tied the game. Megill would get out of the inning to send it to extras, where Milwaukee would win it in the tenth to give Megill the win. The 32-year-old right-hander has been trending up in the Brewers’ bullpen, taking back the primary share of save chances. Despite the blown save on Friday, he likely remains in the driver’s seat for ninth-inning opportunities, for now.

Senzatela, coming off four days’ rest, took the mound in the eighth with a two-run lead. He struck out the side on 15 pitches and returned for the ninth to attempt a two-inning save. Things got away from Senzatela as the Brewers brought four runs home on four hits and an error. He’d leave with two outs in the inning with his second blown save. The 31-year-old right-hander remains the only reliever worth rostering in Colorado, and only in deeper leagues, with a 1.98 ERA, 0.96 WHIP, and a 30/10 K/BB ratio across 36 1/3 innings.

The Rockies got to Sproat in the first inning with one run on a double and a groundout. Three more hits in the second brought in a second run. Then Hunter Goodman took him deep for a solo homer in the third. Sproat held on for two more scoreless innings, ending his day after five with two strikeouts. The 25-year-old right-hander should be avoided for fantasy purposes when he takes a 6.17 ERA, 1.56 WHIP, and a 54/29 K/BB ratio across 54 innings into a start against the Athletics at Las Vegas Ballpark on Wednesday.

Feltner stranded a runner in the first inning, then gave up a run on a hit, walk, and groundout in the second. He settled in nicely, silencing the Brewers’ bats across four more perfect innings, ending his day after six at 81 pitches with four strikeouts. The 29-year-old right-hander will take a 4.22 ERA, 1.16 WHIP, and a 23/10 K/BB ratio across 32 innings into a start against the Cubs in Colorado next Thursday.
