Rays selected the contract of OF Chandler Simpson from Triple-A Durham.
The 24-year-old speedster was slashing .301/.325/.329 with zero homers, eight RBI and eight stolen bases (in 11 attempts) through his first 17 games at Triple-A Durham. Rays’ skipper Kevin Cash told reporters after the move was announced, “I think, in theory, he adds an element to any lineup with how fast he is, his contact ability. I think he’s going to get an opportunity here and a little bit of a runway.” Simpson’s game-changing speed makes him an immediate impact addition in all roto leagues.

Orioles activated LHP Dietrich Enns from the 15-day injured list.
Enns returns to Baltimore’s bullpen following a nearly one-month absence recovering from a left foot infection. The 34-year-old lefty figures to jump back into middle relief duty against the Yankees this weekend.
Rutschman putting up 'star caliber' statistics
James Schiano breaks down Adley Rutschman's performance in his six games since returning for the Orioles from the IL, in which he has put up an impressive performance with four home runs and 14 RBIs.
  • BAL Relief Pitcher #72
Orioles recalled LHP Nick Raquet from Triple-A Norfolk.
Raquet has spent the past couple weeks in the minors after being acquired from the Cardinals in a small trade back in early April. The 30-year-old lefty has made four relief appearances in the big leagues since 2024. He’ll operate in middle relief situations for the Orioles.
  • BAL Relief Pitcher #68
Orioles optioned RHP Tyler Wells to Triple-A Norfolk.
Wells heads back to the minors after allowing one run over 1 1/3 innings in relief against the Yankees during Friday’s series opener. The 31-year-old has posted a respectable 3.44 ERA and 18/4 K/BB ratio across 18 1/3 innings this season at the highest level.
  • BAL Relief Pitcher #49
Orioles designated RHP Albert Suárez for assignment.
The procedural move frees up a spot on Baltimore’s 40-man roster. The 36-year-old veteran continues to shuffle on-and-off the Orioles active roster with his latest stint lasting roughly 24 hours. He allowed one run over 2 2/3 innings on Friday in relief against the Yankees.
  • BAL Starting Pitcher
Orioles top pitching prospect Trey Gibson is joining the Orioles on their taxi squad, reports The Baltimore Banner’s Andy Kostka.
Gibson is considered one of the top pitching prospects in Baltimore’s system after racing through three levels with a 166/44 K/BB ratio across 120 1/3 innings to reach Triple-A Norfolk by the conclusion of last season. The 23-year-old is presumably joining the Orioles on their taxi squad in case they need some additional relief depth behind Kyle Bradish and Shane Baz this weekend in New York. He’s an interesting arm that fantasy managers should be watching closely if he gets a sustained opportunity at the highest level.
  • NYY Left Fielder #24
Jasson Domínguez (elbow) is back in the lineup for Saturday’s contest against the Orioles.
Domínguez is back at DH and hitting sixth after sitting out Friday’s series opener to undergo additional imaging on his left elbow, which didn’t reveal any fractures. The 23-year-old former top prospect suffered a contusion when he was hit by a pitch during Wednesday’s series finale against the Rangers. He’ll have an opportunity to show something against right-handed starters for at least a couple games while Giancarlo Stanton (calf) remains on the injured list.
  • AZ 2nd Baseman #4
Ketel Marte is back in the lineup for Saturday’s showdown against the Cubs.
Marte got a mental breather during Friday’s series opener after slashing .231/.291/.385 with five homers and 11 RBI through his first 30 games. It’s an encouraging sign that his absence wasn’t related to the back issue that surfaced a couple of weeks ago. He’s back at second base and leading off with a sizzling-hot Ildemaro Vargas in the cleanup spot. At this point, it almost feels like a Freaky Friday situation where Marte and Vargas swapped bodies during spring training given how they’ve looked over the past five-plus weeks.
  • ATL Relief Pitcher #59
Braves selected the contract of RHP Carlos Carrasco from Triple-A Gwinnett.
Carrasco rejoins Atlanta’s relief mix for his second stint with the club this season after tossing a scoreless frame in his lone appearance earlier this month. The 39-year-old journeyman is purely a long relief option at this advanced stage of his career. He can be safely ignored for fantasy purposes.
  • ATL Relief Pitcher #61
Braves optioned RHP Anthony Molina to Triple-A Gwinnett.
Molina did his job with a pair of scoreless frames in his Braves debut on Friday against his former organization at Coors Field. The 24-year-old reliever has made 53 appearances in the big leagues since 2024, with nearly all of those coming with the Rockies.
  • MIN Relief Pitcher #71
Twins selected the contract of RHP John Klein from Triple-A St. Paul.
Klein receives his first call up to the big leagues to replace an injured Cole Sands (forearm) in Minnesota’s bullpen. The 24-year-old relief prospect has piled up 24 strikeouts and just six walks over 21 2/3 innings for Triple-A St. Paul this season. He’ll likely operate as a multi-inning specialist out of the gate.
