Twins placed 3B Royce Lewis on the 15-day injured list, retroactive to June 14, with a left hamstring strain.
The move is now official. Lewis simply can’t catch a break from an injury standpoint. He’s been plagued by persistent physical issues since breaking into the majors back in 2022 and heads back to the injured list for the second time this season for a hamstring-related strain. The positive news is that he’s dealing with a relatively mild hamstring strain this time around, which doesn’t figure to require a lengthy absence.
