Spencer Bivens worked the final three innings in a lopsided victory over the Orioles on Sunday, notching his first save of the season.
The 31-year-old hurler came on with a 10-0 lead to protect in the seventh inning. After working two scoreless innings, the Orioles pushed a pair of runs across against him in the ninth. Bivens ultimately allowed two runs on six hits and a walk and didn’t record a single strikeout. He’s not going to suddenly work his way into the mix for saves in the Giants’ bullpen so he can continue to be ignored for fantasy purposes.

Richard Lovelady tossed a scoreless ninth inning with one strikeout to record a save against the Braves on Saturday.
Lovelady was summoned in the ninth inning with a two-run lead to close out the game against the Braves. Despite Gus Vardland being available, Lovelady got the call to face the heart of the Atlanta order, which featured two left-handed hitters in Michael Harris II and Matt Olson. He tossed a clean frame, striking out one for his fourth save. It seems the 30-year-old left-hander is firmly in the saves mix on a matchup basis.

James Schiano unpacks Bo Bichette finally getting back to form over the last five games, explaining why both the New York Mets and fantasy managers can count on continued improvement from the seasoned veteran,

Grant Holmes allowed two runs while striking out ten batters over five innings in a loss against the Nationals on Saturday.
Holmes recorded five of his first six outs via strikeout before the game went into a one-hour rain delay. He returned and stranded the bases loaded in the third, then gave up a solo homer to Dylan Crews in the fourth. Jorbit Vivas then took Holmes deep for a solo homer in the fifth. Holmes’ day would be done after the five innings. He generated an impressive 18 whiffs to strike out a season-high 10 batters. The 30-year-old right-hander will take a 3.78 ERA, 1.30 WHIP, and a 48/24 K/BB ratio across 52 1/3 innings into a start against the Reds in Cincinnati on Friday.
  • MIN Left Fielder #9
Trevor Larnach went 4-for-5 with two runs scored in the Twins’ 4-2 win over the Red Sox on Saturday.
Larnach enjoyed an excellent day at the plate, starting with a base hit and a run scored in the first inning. He added a double in the third, then singled and scored again in the fifth. Larnach collected his fourth hit of the day with a single in the sixth. The four-hit game raises his batting average from .248 entering the day to .271 with two homers and 20 runs scored over 141 plate appearances. A lower strikeout rate has come with a significant drop in his hard-hit rate this season, signaling a change to a more contact-oriented approach for the 29-year-old outfielder.

Taylor Rogers recorded the final out in the ninth inning to convert a save against the Red Sox on Saturday.
Andrew Morris started the ninth inning with a three-run lead for a save chance. He gave up a hit and walked three to bring in a run with two outs before Rogers was summoned for the final out. Rogers struck out the final batter to secure the win and pick up his second save. Despite Rogers’ save on Saturday, there remains very little clarity in the Twins’ save situation, with as many as five relievers in the mix.

Enrique Hernández (elbow) is expected to return to the Dodgers on Monday.
Dodgers manager Dave Roberts announced that he’ll play third base against the Rockies against southpaw Kyle Freeland. Hernández has been out for all of 2026 while recovering from the elbow injury he suffered back in 2025. The 34-year-old is a versatile option who can play in the infield and outfield, and will see some playing time against southpaw pitchers.
  • MIN Starting Pitcher #26
Taj Bradley gave up one run while striking out seven batters over five innings in a win over the Red Sox on Saturday.
Bradley was excellent in his return from the injured list on Saturday, holding the Red Sox to one run over five frames. The one run would come in to score in the fourth on three hits. They would be the only hits he allowed on the day while generating 11 whiffs to strike out seven batters. The 25-year-old right-hander will take a 2.77 ERA, 1.17 WHIP, and a 59/19 K/BB ratio across 52 innings into a start against the White Sox in Chicago on Thursday.
  • BOS Starting Pitcher #66
Brayan Bello allowed two runs -- zero earned -- with five strikeouts over five innings in a no-decision against the Twins on Saturday.
Bello followed opener Jovani Morán, who gave up two runs in the first inning. Bello started the second and tossed two scoreless frames before the Twins brought two unearned runs in to score in the fifth following an error by Willson Contreras. Bello would give the Red Sox another scoreless frame, ending his day after five with five strikeouts. The 27-year-old right-hander owns a 6.43 ERA, 1.80 WHIP, and a 35/21 K/BB ratio across 49 innings. His next outing is scheduled to come against the Guardians in Cleveland on Friday.
  • MIA Catcher #34
Liam Hicks went 2-for-4 with a pair of solo homers to lead the Marlins to a 4-1 win over the Mets on Saturday.
Hicks snapped a 14-game home run drought with a solo blast off Freddy Peralta in the third inning. He did it again in the fifth, leading off with his second homer off Peralta. The 26-year-old backstop continues to be one of the most valuable catchers, slashing .279/.339/.503 with 11 homers, 24 runs scored, and 44 RBI across 186 plate appearances.
  • NYM 1st Baseman #27
Mark Vientos went 2-for-3 with one RBI against the Marlins on Saturday.
Vientos had the Mets only hit off of Max Meyer through seven innings on a base hit in the second inning. With a runner on in the ninth, he prevented the Mets from getting shut out, driving in a run with his second hit. The 26-year-old slugger is hitting .237/.277/.404 with six homers, 16 runs scored, and 23 RBI across 166 plate appearances. A 20.5 percent strikeout rate and 47.5 percent hard-hit rate are indicative of perhaps some better luck on the way at the plate for Vientos.
  • MIA Starting Pitcher #23
Max Meyer held the Mets scoreless over seven innings, striking out eight in a win on Saturday.
Meyer was dominant on Saturday, holding the Mets scoreless over seven frames. He allowed just one hit and walked three batters while generating 12 whiffs to strike out eight batters. The 27-year-old right-hander is now 5-0 on the season with a 2.52 ERA, 1.05 WHIP, and a 68/22 K/BB ratio across 60 2/3 innings. Meyer will look to continue the breakout campaign with another start against the Mets in New York on Friday.
