Brewers agreed to terms with RHP Trevor Megill on a one-year, $4.7 million contract.
Megill gets a $2.76 million raise after saving 30 games in his second year of arbitration. The Brewers have weighed trading him, since they have a brilliant alternative in Abner Uribe, but it would take a significant offer, as he’s still two years away from free agency.

Phillies optioned RHP Nolan Hoffman to Triple-A Lehigh Valley.
De La Cruz the most athletic player in MLB
CC Sabathia and Ahmed Fareed discuss CC's Superlatives from the first month of the season including best dressed, most team spirit, rookie most likely to succeed, most athletic player and much more.
  • COL 2nd Baseman #3
Willi Castro is not in the starting lineup for Tuesday’s game against the Reds.
  • NYM Starting Pitcher #45
Mets recalled RHP Christian Scott from Triple-A Syracuse.
Scott takes the roster spot of Kodai Senga, with Senga hitting the injured list with spine inflammation. The 26-year-old could get a chance to be a starter in the coming days, but also could offer the Mets a multi-inning arm in Senga’s absence.
  • NYM Starting Pitcher #34
Mets placed RHP Kodai Senga on the 15-day injured list with lumbar spine inflammation.
Senga has really struggled in 2026, and after allowing three runs and going just 2 2/3 innings against the Rockies on Sunday, he now has an ERA of 9.00 on the season. The spinal injury will keep him out at least two weeks, but a better idea of when Senga will be able to return to the New York rotation.
  • NYM Center Fielder #88
Luis Robert is not in the starting lineup for Tuesday’s game against the Nationals.
Robert, 28, has not had much success at the plate as of late, and his OPS has dropped to .656 with a .224 average. He’ll get a day off with Carson Benge moving to center field and MJ Melendez getting the start in left.
  • COL Starting Pitcher #21
Rockies activated LHP Kyle Freeland off the 15-day injured list.
Freeland is back to make the start against the Reds on Tuesday. The 32-year-old would be a risky streaming option against the Cincinnati lineup, and will be a risky option against the majority of other lineups as well.
  • TOR Relief Pitcher #52
Blue Jays optioned RHP Chase Lee to Triple-A Durham.
Lee was up for only a day, and gets optioned back to Triple-A with Trey Yesavage (shoulder) coming off the injured list. The 27-year-old will likely be back at some point this summer.
  • TOR Starting Pitcher #39
Blue Jays activated RHP Trey Yesavage off the 15-day injured list.
Yesavage is back to make the start Tuesday against the Red Sox. The 22-year-old was a breakout star for Toronto in both the regular and postseason, and while he likely will be working on a strict pitch/inning count early on, his ability to miss bats makes him a very intriguing option going forward.
  • CIN Starting Pitcher #21
Hunter Greene (elbow) has begun throwing from 110 feet away.
Greene is not expected to be ready to pitch until July, and Charlie Goldsmith of FOX19 in Cincinnati reports that the 26-year-old is about three weeks away from throwing bullpen sessions. Because of his ability to miss bats, Greene is worth holding onto even with the long delay.
  • CIN Starting Pitcher #40
Nick Lodolo (blister) will make a rehab start on Saturday.
Lodolo worked five scoreless innings in his previous rehab start for High-A Dayton on Sunday. The 28-year-old will have a good chance of rejoining the Cincinnati rotation if there are no setbacks before/after that rehab appearance.
