DeGrom scattered just five hits and one walk on the evening. The only blemish on his day came on a solo blast off the bat of Oneil Cruz in the fifth inning. DeGrom piled up a whopping 20 swings and misses on 89 pitches on the night — nine of those on his heater which averaged 97.5 mph — while registering an elite CSW of 38 percent. He has been terrific through his first five starts, posting a 2-0 record, 2.13 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and a 35/7 K/BB ratio across 25 1/3 innings. He’ll look to keep the good times rolling when he takes on the Yankees at home on Tuesday.

That means that even in the best-case scenario, Lindor won’t resume any baseball activity until mid-May. Mendoza also noted that the strain is in a “tricky part” of Lindor’s calf. It sounds like fantasy managers shouldn’t expect the superstar shortstop back until sometime in June at the earliest.

Harris was pulled from Tuesday’s game after he was hit by a pitch on his left hand. Fortunately, he suffered just a contusion and is feeling much improved after a couple of days off. The 26-year-old outfielder will start in left field and bat seventh against Will Warren and the Yankees on Friday evening in Houston.

Benintendi had a couple of hits including a three-run homer on Thursday night, so it’s a bit surprising to see him out of the lineup against an opposing right-hander on Friday evening. Perhaps the White Sox know something that we don’t and expect a left-hander to work bulk innings in the game. Everson Pereira will slide up to the leadoff spot in his absence against what’s expected to be Miles Mikolas for the Nationals.

Moncada, a switch-hitter, has now found himself on the bench against three straight left-handers in favor of Oswald Peraza. If he’s now in a platoon situation, expect him to also sit out on Saturday against Cole Ragans. Otherwise, it’s possible that he’s dealing with an underlying physical issue. Fantasy managers may want to get him out of lineups for the weekend if possible.

Fraley sat out Wednesday’s game as well after fouling a ball off of his leg on Tuesday. The fact that the Rays haven’t put him on the injured list makes it likely that they still feel it’s a day-to-day type of injury and expect him to return to the lineup at some point over the weekend. Jonny DeLuca will once again start in his place in right field and will bat fifth against Taj Bradley and the Twins on Friday evening in Tampa Bay.

Castro was removed from Thursday’s game after two innings due to soreness in his right knee. It sounds like he has been playing through the injury for a while now, though it doesn’t appear that a trip to the injured list is imminent. Tyler Freeman will start in his place at second base on Friday night and will bat cleanup for the Rockies against Mets’ right-hander Freddy Peralta.

It appears to be just a routine day off for the versatile 26-year-old. Julien has established himself as the Rockies’ regular leadoff hitter against right-handed pitching in recent weeks, making him a worthwhile addition in deeper mixed leagues. Mickey Moniak will serve as the designated hitter and bat leadoff for the Rockies while Brenton Doyle makes a rare start against a right-hander and will start in center field and bat ninth for the Rockies against Freddy Peralta and the Mets.

Once again Keith finds himself on the bench with an opposing left-hander on the hill for the Reds. It’s the fourth time in the Tigers’ last six games that Keith has started the game on the bench with a lefty on the mound. He’ll undoubtedly come off the bench to face a right-hander at some point in the game. Hao-Yu Lee will draw a start at second base and will bat eighth while Gleyber Torres functions as the team’s designated hitter on Friday evening against Andrew Abbott and the Reds in Cincinnati.

Peralta was claimed off of waivers from the Brewers in early April. He’ll get his first shot to work out of the Rockies’ bullpen with Ryan Feltner (elbow) heading to the injured list on Friday. It’s possible it’ll be a short-term move as the Rockies decide how to replace Feltner in their rotation as someone will ultimately need to be sent back out to make room for that replacement starter next week. He’ll function in a middle relief role for first-year manager Warren Schaeffer.

Feltner was pulled from Thursday’s start against the Padres after just two innings due to tightness in his triceps and further evaluation led to the unfortunate diagnosis. There’s no clear timetable yet on how long he’ll be shelved for, but fantasy managers in deeper redraft leagues can probably go ahead and cut bait at this point. Sammy Peralta was recalled from Triple-A Albuquerque in a corresponding move on Friday.
