This article aims to highlight some of the best NBA DFS Plays at every position for your cash game lineups. Keep in mind that the following player write-ups were constructed earlier in the day, and sometimes injury/rest situations can alter the fantasy landscape. Monitoring our NBA News & Headlines Feed throughout the day will keep you in the loop while giving you the subsequent DFS consequences of each information piece.
We’ll take a look at Saturday’s three-game slate starting at 7:30 ET.

POINT GUARD
Jordan Poole – Golden State (vs. Utah) - DK: $7,200 / FD: $8,000 / Yahoo: $33
I see three possible options to anchor the PG slot tonight, and they all overlap in their range of outcomes. In tournaments, you might want to chase the higher ceiling of Young or Irving, but Poole’s lower salary is a perfect fit for cash games. He’s also been remarkably consistent with Steph Curry out, and is coming off a 64-fantasy point effort against the Suns, so the ceiling isn’t too bad for Poole either.
Also Consider: Trae Young, Kyrie Irving
SHOOTING GUARD
Donovan Mitchell – Utah (at Golden State) - DK: $8,400 / FD: $8,100 / Yahoo: $37
Mitchell, too, provides the kind of stability I’m looking for on a short slate in cash games. He’s had one bad shooting night recently, vs. Dallas, but has rebounded since and is back to scoring about 30 PPG over the last 2-3 weeks. He’s also dishing out about six assists per game and has at least one steal in each of his last five games. The Warriors turn the ball over at the second highest rate in the league, so there is some extra incentive to use Mitchell for those steal points (3 points on FD and Yahoo, 2 on DK).
Also Consider: Kevin Huerter, Klay Thompson, Tyler Herro
SMALL FORWARD
Bogdan Bogdanovic – Atlanta (vs. Brooklyn) - DK: $6,100 / FD: $5,900 / Yahoo: $23
Bogdanovic is coming off a weaker performance in a big win over Cleveland (also a b2b), but Vegas expects this game to be close and high-scoring with the highest over/under of the night at 241.5 points. Both teams rank in the bottom third of the league in defensive rating, while the Hawks are second in offensive rating. On sites with more flexibility, you might choose to go with Huerter instead, or in addition to, Bogdanovic, but this seems like a great spot for Bogdan to get back to playing 30ish minutes and putting up at least 30 fantasy points.

POWER FORWARD
DeMar DeRozan – Chicago (vs. Miami) - DK: $8,600 / FD: $8,900 (SG/SF) / Yahoo: $38
DeRozan has been doing it all for the Bulls lately as Zach LaVine nurses a sore knee. Though LaVine is playing through it, he is enjoying a lot less usage than DeRozan, who is putting up 26-27 shots per game over his last three games. That’s led to him scoring an average of almost 40 PPG in that span, in addition to ample rebounds and assists. This is going to be more of a defensive struggle, as the Heat allow the fewest fantasy points to opponents and rank fourth in defensive rating. Still, it’s not nearly as hard to build a strong lineup with DeRozan as it is with Durant, so I’m typically rolling with the hot Chicago Bull tonight.

CENTER
Clint Capela – Atlanta (vs. Brooklyn) - DK: $6,700 / FD: $6,400 / Yahoo: $22
If price were no object, I’d probably be rostering Gobert or Vucevic tonight, but since it is I’m hoping and praying that Capela can keep up his quality play tonight. Again, the matchup is the best of the slate, and the game factors are all encouraging. Capela has had a strange season, looking like a shadow of his former self for much of it, but has bounced back recently with three of his last four games going for over 40 fantasy points. It’s encouraging that in two matchups with the Nets this season Capela is averaging 41 fantasy points per game.
Also Consider: Nikola Vucevic, Rudy Gobert, Bam Adebayo
Additional Notes
Patrick Williams (F – CHI) Second year man Williams is coming off a 37-minute, close game in which everyone played, no one was injured, and he returned a nice double-double with two blocks and a steal. For at or near minimum salary, he might be the key to a stars and scrubs GPP lineup tonight.
Tyler Herro (G – MIA) is a guy I’m usually happy to realize I have enough salary left to squeeze into my lineups and tonight is no exception. The Heat are currently the top seed in the East, though Boston and Milwaukee are hot on their heels, so they are definitely playing to win tonight. Herro has been a steady multi-category contributor all season long, and his numbers against Chicago are close to his season average. On a small slate, I’m fine with him hitting that 30-fantasy point mark that is nearly a guarantee.
