Fant was engaged in a block during practice and took the brunt of a knee-to-knee collision. He was unable to place weight on his left leg, requiring the cart to depart the practice field. Fant will undergo further testing to determine the extent of the injury. The special teams contributor has appeared in 11 games since signing as an undrafted free agent in 2023.

By all accounts, Wilson has been a beast on the field for the Cardinals through the early portions of camp, with multiple beat reporters hinting at the potential for him to end the 2026 season as the team’s leading wide receiver. The injury was not disclosed but Wilson was seen on the sideline in sweats cheering on his fellow receivers through position drills. Minter’s comments, while slightly vague, seem to point towards Pocic as the desired starter, assuming his injury recovery continues to progress without hiccup. Fellow free agent additions Danny Pinter and Jovaughn Gwyn will compete with Pocic for the starting role.

Benson had in-season meniscus surgery last season and never returned to the field. LaFleur said the team doesn’t anticipate this flare-up becoming a multi-week issue, but they’re clearly going to do what they need to do to help him manage things. Benson is competing for touches with James Conner and Tyler Allgeier in camp, but there’s been some belief that the Cardinals could keep four running backs on the final roster when all is said and done. Benson has a career rushing line of 92-451-1 through his first two seasons in the league.

Jennings is good to go after an undisclosed injury sidelined him for the first week of training camp. The third-year back is expected to compete for RB3 duties this season.

Concepcion landed hard on his right shoulder near the end of Monday’s practice and was in visible pain while making his way to the sideline. Despite the initial scare, it doesn’t appear this is anything too serious. The rookie receiver has made a strong early impression in training camp and is one of the more intriguing late-round dart throws in fantasy drafts this season.

Payton acknowledged that he will speak to Hill in five days when the two meet at Canton for Drew Brees’ Hall of Fame induction, and Payton is planning to gauge whether Hill is interested in playing another season. The 35-year-old offensive weapon made a name for himself in Payton’s offense from 2018 to 2021, and continued to be a primary contributor for the Saints long after Payton left. Hill will turn 36 before the start of the season and has had a quiet offseason thus far after his contract expired at the end of the 2025 season.

Given the way injuries have piled up for the 49ers during their first week of camp, this is pretty good news. Evans, 32, could miss a few days due to his injury, but the veteran receiver isn’t expected to miss any significant time. Evans was having a strong first few days of camp before his injury and should be firmly in the conversation as a WR2 for fantasy this season.

Browns beat writer Mary Kay Cabot posted a video to her X account on Monday, where Concepcion can be seen walking to the sideline with a trainer while holding his right shoulder. We don’t know much beyond what we saw on Cabot’s video, so this will be one to keep an eye on. Concepcion has enjoyed a strong camp with the Browns through the first week and is expected to be a focal point in the offense in his rookie year under Todd Monken.
