Buccaneers coach Todd Bowles said Jalen McMillan (knee) is “healthy and he’s not all the way there yet, but he’s closer to getting there.”

That explains all the Ted Hurst from yesterday’s game. McMillan played just seven snaps and saw no targets. He enters Week 3 as a hard-to-trust FLEX even if he is healthy.

Mike Florio explains why unanswered questions remain in the Jalen Hurts controversy, including whether the NFLPA will seek a formal investigation and whether Hurts could consider legal action.

Imaging Monday confirmed a PCL sprain for McMillan, who will soon move to injured reserve with a month-plus recovery timeline. The Buccaneers are also dealing with an injury to quarterback Baker Mayfield’s thumb on his throwing hand, although initial testing was positive. Now sitting at 0-3 and in last place in the NFC South, they’ll likely look to youth to attempt to save their season. On that note, no team in the division currently holds a winning record through three weeks.

McMillan suffered a knee injury in the first quarter of Sunday’s loss to the Vikings and did not return to the game. The 24-year-old receiver has played in two games this season but has yet to register a catch on the nine offensive snaps he has played. It’s been a rough two seasons for McMillan, who missed nearly all of last season with a serious neck injury that sidelined him until Week 15.
  • TB Wide Receiver #11
McMillan sustained a knee injury in the first quarter and did not return to the game. The Bucs said they would evaluate the injury on Sunday night. Ted Hurst ran almost every route in the Tampa offense with McMillan sidelined, catching a 40-yard touchdown in the first half. Hurst would continue to play significant snaps if McMillan is out for a while.
  • TB Wide Receiver #11
McMillan logged three full practices last week but was limited to just seven snaps on Sunday. He was not targeted once. His role should increase as he gets more practice reps under his belt, but fantasy managers can’t count on that happening this week specifically. He is not on the fantasy menu for Week 3.
  • TB Wide Receiver #11
The Bucs are going to ease McMillan back into the lineup after he missed Week 1 with the knee injury. McMillan will take rookie Ted Hurst’s spot in the lineup once healthy, but that might not happen until Week 3. Until we see what their split looks like, neither Hurst nor McMillan should be in fantasy lineups.
  • TB Wide Receiver #11
This is a little surprising. The Buccaneers seem to be taking it very slowly as they bring McMillan back from his knee injury. At this point, he must be treated as being truly questionable to play. He is a boom-bust FLEX if active.
  • TB Wide Receiver #11
McMillan missed Week 1 due to a knee issue, despite getting in three limited practices during the week. He was listed as doubtful and the team ruled him out ahead of kickoff. It seems like the team was taking a cautious approach with his return from the training camp injury, and he should be good for Week 2. McMillan is expected to take rookie Ted Hurst’s spot in the lineup at X. Hurst managed just three catches for 36 yards in the role. In his first game of the season, McMillan will be buried in the WR5 ranks for fantasy purposes.

As is Sean Tucker (hamstring). McMillan’s immediate absence will force the Bucs to dig in to their young receiving depth earlier than they would have liked, but rookie Ted Hurst is not a bad fall-back option for the club. For fantasy managers, however, Hurst is not yet an option even in 14-team leagues. Also inactive for the Bucs are OT Justin Skule, CB Ayden Garnes, DL DeMonte Capehart, DL Elijah Simmons and OG Billy Schrauth.
  • TB Wide Receiver #11
In addition to McMillan, the Buccaneers are also listing RB Sean Tucker (hamstring) as doubtful, putting both players on the wrong side of being active for Week 1. McMillan was able to log a limited week of practice, so hopefully he’ll have a chance to suit up in Week 2 when the Buccaneers take on the Browns. Rookie WR Ted Hurst should make for an interesting dart throw in DFS as he looks to be in line for more work with McMillan sidelined.

McMillan is on track to face the Bengals on Sunday, but he is clearly still ramping up post-injury, potentially adding volatility to his Week 1 outlook. The Buccaneers’ No. 3 wide receiver is a boom-bust FLEX.

Tytus Howard (concussion) is questionable to return in Week 7 against the Titans.

Howard left the game in the first half with a head injury and had not returned as of the start of the fourth quarter. Losing Howard would be a tough blow for a Cleveland offensive line that has been solid in both run and pass blocking in 2026. Look for Howard to enter the league’s concussion protocol in the coming days.

Aaron Jones (knee) is questionable to return Week 7 against the Colts.

Jones suffered a knee injury after a fourth quarter run against the Colts. He has notably been playing through an MCL injury and may have re-aggravated it here. Jones struggled to walk and spent time in the medical tent. Jordan Mason is the team’s top running back while Jones is out.

Bryce Young completed 14-of-27 passes for 163 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions in the Panthers’ Week 7 game against the Bucs, also losing a fumble-six.

With the Panthers somehow losing 43-6 in the fourth quarter, Young gave way to Kenny Pickett for the final 10:11. Pickett immediately engineered a garbage time touchdown drive. This was by far Young’s worst game of what had so far been a legitimate breakout campaign, as he short-circuited one drive after another and set up Bucs short fields with turnovers. The fumble-six was the most costly mistake, but Young’s second interception was probably his worst throw. He was fooled by the coverage under pressure and threw the ball right to Tykee Smith. Young’s first pick came after Jalen Coker fell down. In between all the miscues, Young could get nothing going with either Coker or Tetairoa McMillan. It was hard to see this coming — especially against the Bucs — but it is even harder to see it continuing for Thursday’s short-week date with the Packers. With that contest likely to feature shootout game script, Young will remain in the low-end QB1 ranks.

Erick All (knee) wil not return in Week 7 against the Ravens.

All exited in the third quarter with a knee injury and walked off the field on his own. The third-year tight end has a history of bad knee injuries, so this one is a bit concerning. All was having a decent day against the Ravens and left the game with three receptions for 26 yards on three targets.

Rams declared CB Trent McDuffie, QB Ty Simpson, LB Nate Landman, OL Bill Murray, OL Keagan Trost and TE Max Klare inactive for Week 7 against the Raiders.

McDuffie injured his groin during a Week 6 practice. The Rams have listed him as questionable to play despite the fact that he has not yet resumed practicing. He was playing extremely well prior to the injury. His loss is consequential. The Rams elevated LB Eric Kendricks and CB Cam Lampkin to the active roster for today’s game.

T’Vondre Sweat suffered a knee injury in Week 7 against the Dolphins and will not return.

Aaron Banks (knee/toe) is active for Week 7 against the Lions.

Banks was questionable headed into the weekend. He’ll miss at least one game with toe and knee injuries, a potential blow to Jordan Love, Josh Jacobs, and the Green Bay offense. With Jacobs active for the first time this year, the Packers will keep Kaleb Johnson inactive. Packers declared CB Benjamin St-Juste, RB Kaleb Johnson, LB Zaire Franklin, OL Jager Burton, OL Donovan Jennings, and G Kevin Zeitler inactive against Detroit.

Puka Nacua (calf) is active for Week 7 against the Raiders.

Start him. The Rams clearly feel comfortable with their superstar playing today, and we should too. Nacua’s upside is too high for him to remain on fantasy football benches. Reporting on Nacua’s ailment suggests he is not necessarily dealing with a strain. It can perhaps be best described as muscle fatigue, though we are doctors here at Rotoworld. Re-injury is possible, but we can safely expect him to handle a large workload whenever he is on the field. Nacua is a high-end WR1.

Mike Washington (foot/back) is active for Week 7 against the Rams.

Whether Washington plays all that much remains to be seen. He is not a recommended FLEX starter. Raiders coach Klint Kubiak has misdirected at times with injury-related comments. The Raiders declared DT Thomas Booker IV, DE Cian Slone, S Dalton Johnson, DT Jonah Laulu, G Bryan Cabeldue, S Tristin McCollum and QB Aidan O’Connell inactive for Week 7 against the Rams. O’Connell will serve as the emergency third quarterback.
