Tyjae Spears (ankle) is active for Week 3 vs. NYG

He said this on FOX’s pre-game show. Per Glazer, they couldn’t make Bagent the starter because he wasn’t involved in enough of the game planning, but with Caleb Williams now due to miss 3-4 weeks, Bagent could easily start Week 4’s game against the Jets. It’s also possible Bagent makes a relief appearance in Week 3 if Keenum looks rough. Bagent likely should be added in any superflex leagues where his concussion left him on the waiver wire.

Coleman was iffy headed into the weekend with an ankle injury he sustained last week against the Lions. Last week Coleman caught all six of his targets for 63 yards with DJ Moore sidelined with a shoulder issue. Moore is active for Week 3, meaning Coleman should remain on fantasy benches for now.

This is not an ideal injury report for the Chargers. Molden is the team’s starting free safety, but he’s currently out with a hamstring injury, while Dalvin Tomlinson, their starting defensive tackle, is also out with a hamstring injury. That’s good news for Josh Allen, James Cook, and the Bills offense. On the offensive side of the ball, Charlie Kolar, their starting tight end, has a forearm injury, and starting left guard Kayode Awosika has a fibula injury. Pair that with starting linemen Trey Pipkins III and Tyler Biadasz already being on the injured list, and their Chargers offensive line is going to be short-handed against a Bills defense that welcomed back Ed Oliver on Sunday. That could ding Omarion Hampton’s production a bit.

Conner and Simmons, who both have now missed multiple weeks, were ruled out on Friday. The other five players are healthy scratches.

Who could have seen this coming? Porter has yet to suit up for a game this season, and it’s due to either a back issue, his current contract situation, or a mixture of the two. Teams have inquired about his availability via trade, but no deal appears on the horizon for the 26-year-old corner. In addition to Porter, the Steelers also declared RB Rico Dowdle, QB Drew Allar, QB Willi Howard, RB Eli Heidenreich, DE Kevin Jobity Jr., and DE Gabe Rubio inactive for Week 3.

Singletary is a healthy scratch this week. Najee Harris and Tyrone Tracy are the backup running backs for New York. Singletary had nine carries and four catches in the first two weeks of the year. His absence could be a slight boost to Cam Skattebo, though Singletary’s touches may just be distributed to the other backups.

Ward was the only questionable Colts player, but got in a full practice on Friday. Ashton Dulin (ankle) was ruled out on Friday. The other Colts inactives, all healthy scratches, are RB DJ Giddens, DE George Gumbs Jr., QB Riley Leonard, WR Darius Slayton and G Dalton Tucker.

It was reported earlier on Sunday that Pittman was expected to suit up, so this isn’t much of a surprise. Despite being ready to go, Pittman will be hard to trust this week against a much-improved Bengals defense. He caught just three passes for 58 yards on three targets in his lone game this season and his best left on fantasy benches in most cases.

Meyers was able to practice late in the week and will suit up as the team’s WR3 against a tough New England coverage unit. It’s a revenge game for Meyers, who through Week 2 has a 6 percent target share and a 12 percent air yards share while running a route on 76 percent of the Jaguars’ drop backs. Jaguars declared WR CJ Williams, S Jalen Huskey, LB Jack Kiser, OL Daniel Faalele, DE Wesley Williams, and DT Albert Regis inactive against the Patriots.

No surprises here; Trent Brown (knee/wrist) will play off a questionable tag. The other three injured Texans were ruled out on Friday. Ingram has not practiced since suffering a groin injury in practice last Wednesday and has to be considered questionable for Week 4 as well as this point; he’s the best run blocker on Houston’s line.
