ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports Jerry Jeudy “could be had” before the trade deadline.

With Denzel Boston and KC Concepcion earning large roles right away, Jeudy has all but vanished from the box scores. He went two games without catching a single pass before bringing down three balls for 36 yards on Thursday night. Jeudy got pushed out of the Browns’ long-term plans on draft night and isn’t even part of the week-to-week game plan at this point.

Concepcion continues to operate as the primary slot receiver for a Browns team clearly looking to their youth while phasing out veteran Jerry Jeudy, the latter of whom managed three receptions on three targets for 36 yards. Concepcion has yet to lead the team in receiving while working in a short area role, with this the first game thus far which he has gained more then 43 yards. He’ll be a difficult start in fantasy circles when the Browns take on the Jets in Week 5.
  • CLE Wide Receiver #3
After his two-catch performance in Week 1, Jeudy is off to a roaring start. Denzel Boston has established himself as Cleveland’s de facto No. 1 wideout while KC Concepcion is being force fed the ball on gadget plays near the line of scrimmage. With almost no avenue to fantasy relevance, Jeudy should remain on waiver wires.
  • CLE Wide Receiver #3
Jeudy is on track to play, but he is seemingly being phased out of the offense. Browns rookie WRs Denzel Boston and KC Concepcion are establishing themselves as impactful starters, and their roles should only grow in the coming weeks. Jeudy should be left on waivers.
  • CLE Wide Receiver #3
Jeudy felt like an afterthought behind the two rookie wideouts in the Browns’ passing game. He tied for second in targets and was a distant third in yards behind Denzel Boston and KC Concepcion. The veteran is still involved as a starter on the outside, but Todd Monken made it a point to make Boston the deep target and Concepcion the primary offensive weapon. In a fantasy-unfriendly offense, Jeudy is best left off the fantasy radar.
  • CLE Wide Receiver #3
Cleveland’s Mary Kay Cabot reports that Jeudy “felt something in his hamstring today,” so he sat out. Coach Todd Monken made clear that he does not give veterans rest days right now, so if a player sits, it’s because they are being cautious with an injury. Today was the Browns’ final mandatory minicamp practice. They will now go on break until training camp begins in July. Early in May, Cabot reported that the team is hoping Jeudy reclaims his WR1 role this season. Browns rookie WRs KC Concepcion and Denzel Boston have been taking full rotations with both the No. 1 and No. 2 offensive groups. Yesterday, ESPN’s Daniel Oyefusi reported Boston “has been one of the Browns’ standouts this summer.” Get well soon, Jeudy. The youngsters look promising.
  • CLE Wide Receiver #3
Cabot later writes that “the Browns really need Jeudy to return to his Pro Bowl form, and are confident he will.” We think her initial, hopeful framing is closer to the truth. Last week, Browns general manager Andrew Berry said rookie WRs KC Concepcion and Denzel Boston’s presence has “zero impact” on Jeudy. There’s an awful lot of reassurance going on here. Jeudy posted a 92/1,229/4 receiving line in 2024 before cratering to a 50/602/2 receiving line in 2025. Jeudy is under contract through 2027, but the dead money and salary cap savings are nearly even if designated as a post-June 1 cut next year. Given the Browns’ pass-catching investments over the last two drafts, and Jeudy’s poor 2025 showing, he looks like a dicey pick in fantasy for 2026.
  • CLE Wide Receiver #3
The Browns selected two receivers in the top-40 of last week’s draft, taking KC Concepcion 24th overall and Denzel Boston 39th overall. While they clearly addressed a massive weakness on the roster, Berry said he doesn’t expect the addition to have an impact on Jeudy, adding that he prefers to build a receiver room “with different skillsets” and that doesn’t require one player to be a “ball dominant player.” In a somewhat contradictory statement, Berry also said he expects Jeudy, to be the “bell cow” receiver for the team. It’s hard to know what to make of this, but both Concepcion and Boston figure to see the field early as rookies. Even if Jeudy’s snaps don’t see a noticeable decrease, we probably shouldn’t expect him to see anything close to the 142 targets he had in 2024 when he broke out for 92-1,229-4.
  • CLE Wide Receiver #3
It’s a situation he says “remains bad” as Jerry Jeudy and Isaiah Bond appear to be the only two players guaranteed a role on next year’s team. The Browns struck out on their attempts to add to the room via trade early in free agency and prioritized their offensive line. Jeudy’s fantasy value is hanging on by a thread with Shedeur Sanders the likely starter in 2026. Any other impact rookie additions would likely push him into the WR5 ranks.
  • CLE Wide Receiver #3
With limited cap space and the ability to have the trading team absorb some of a player’s cap hit, it makes plenty of sense for the Browns to dive back into this. It would be a blow to Jerry Jeudy’s already-faltering fantasy football value if the Browns brought in another wideout, though it’s possible they settle for someone even less-renowned than Jeudy.
  • CLE Wide Receiver #3
Jeudy labored through inconsistent and downright awful quarterback play for the better part of the 2025 season. Coming off a 1,200-yard campaign in 2024, his yardage was cut in half this time around. He finished the season with 50 catches for 602 yards and two touchdowns. Jeudy was also credited with nine drops on the year, which nearly led the league. All in, Jeudy averaged a career-low 1.02 yards per route run. He finished outside the top 75 wideouts in that metric. Jeudy is miscast as a No. 1 receiver and the Browns’ quarterback woes compounded that issue into a catastrophic season. With the Browns looking at quarterback and head coaching changes in the offseason, Jeudy’s fantasy outlook could shift drastically by the time early drafts roll around. For now, he looks like a low-wattage WR5 heading into 2026.

Justin Herbert completed 14-of-24 passes for 121 yards with a touchdown and interceptions while rushing for 54 yards and losing a fumble in the Chargers’ 23-17, Week 5 loss to the Broncos.

Herbert was without his top wideouts, his top offensive lineman, and the fact he was able to put up even this type of statline is somewhat impressive, if you squint very hard. The 28-year-old quarterback was constantly under pressure, and was at his best when he was able to escape the pocket and use his underrated wheels. That being said, he could have had more turnovers than this, and his interception was an inexcusable throw right into the hands of the Broncos’ defender. Even if Herbert gets his weapons back, fantasy managers should be looking elsewhere in Week 6 in standard leagues fora touch matchup against the Chiefs.

Kaleb Johnson rushed seven times for 26 yards in the Packers’ Week 5 win over the Bears.

Even with Chris Brooks (ankle) on injured reserve, Johnson remain mired in a three-man committee, as veteran journeyman Pierre Strong slid seamlessly into Brooks’ vacated “role.” Johnson could also only watch as MarShawn Lloyd seemed to have the advantage in short-yardage situations, notching the first two rushing touchdowns of his star-crossed career. Yet to handle more than eight carries in a game, it just isn’t happening for Johnson in 12-team league fantasy. He’s a poor FLEX option ahead of Week 6 against the Cowboys.

Kalif Raymond caught 3-of-4 targets for six yards in the Bears’ Week 5 loss to the Packers.

Raymond’s fast start to the season has now been erased to the tune of just five catches for 12 yards over the past two weeks. Even with Caleb Williams (hamstring) looking likely to return for Week 6 against the Falcons, Raymond’s brief moment in the 2026 fantasy sun has come and gone.

Roschon Johnson rushed five times for six yards in the Bears’ Week 5 loss to the Packers, adding five receptions for 34 yards.

Filling in for Kyle Monangai (toe), Johnson helped close out a blowout loss. Pro Football Focus charted him as playing the final 13 snaps over D’Andre Swift, goosing his touch totals with No. 3 QB Case Keenum under center. Johnson would perhaps be worth a desperation PPR flier if Monangai remains sidelined for Week 6 against the Falcons and Caleb Williams (hamstring) returns, but “desperation” would be the operative word there.

Mason Taylor caught 3-of-3 targets for 24 yards in the Jets’ Week 5 win over the Browns.

Active for the first time since Week 2, Taylor caught the second most balls on the team as Kenyon Sadiq departed with a third quarter concussion. Those are awful developments for Sadiq managers, but almost certainly not enough to create TE2 value for Taylor, even if Sadiq misses Week 6 against the Patriots.

Ravens declared QB Lamar Jackson, OLB Trey Hendrickson, C Cam Jurgens, G Andrew Vorhees, WR Elijah Sarratt, and DT Aeneas Peebles inactive for Week 5 against the Falcons.

Jackson had already been ruled out earlier in the week and reportedly could be looking at a multi-game absence due to an ankle injury suffered before halftime in Week 4. Tyler Huntley will start under center for the Ravens as they look to subdue the momentum of the Falcons, who have won both games started by Michael Penix. Isaiah Davis rushed two times for eight yards in the Jets’ Week 5 win over the Browns, adding a nine-yard reception.

Davis at least touched the ball after his Week 4 doughnut, but Pro Football Focus charted him as getting out-snapped 60-10 by fill-in No. 2 Braelon Allen. Decisive, to say the least. Even if Breece Hall (quad) is forced to miss his third straight game in Week 6, Davis hasn’t shown enough to warrant a 12-team league looksee.

Falcons declared DE Za’Darius Smith, LB Christian Harris, QB Cooper Rush, QB Jack Strand, OL Ethan Onianwa, DB Malcolm DeWalt IV, and DB Robert Longerbeam inactive for Week 5 against the Ravens.

The Falcons remain one of the healthier teams in the league as they enter Week 5 with no major injuries amongst skill position players. They’ll look to maintain the momentum under starting quarterback Michael Penix, who has won his first two starts of the season, against the stingy Ravens on Sunday Night Football.

Texans coach DeMeco Ryans said David Montgomery (groin) may miss “some time.”

It sounds like Montgomery is in danger of missing both the Jaguars and Giants games before Houston’s Week 8 bye, assuming this is just a mild injury. Woody Marks will take over as Houston’s lead back for the time being and could be in for sizable role given how no other back received a snap or touch once Montgomery went down in Week 5.
