Trevor Lawrence completed 24-of-39 passes for 331 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception in the Jaguars’ 19-17, Week 5 win over the Eagles.

Lawrence gave fantasy managers what they needed with a solid box score, but he was not the reason the Jags won this game. Lawrence struggled under pressure, throwing one ugly interception while putting the ball on the ground twice via sack-fumbles. Both were recovered by the Jags. The offense was also a catastrophe in the red zone, though a series of penalties and bizarre play calls are largely to blame there. Down by one with eight seconds left, it looked like the team’s struggles on offense would be too much to overcome. Instead, Ameer Abdullah returned a kickoff 53 yards to set up a walkoff field goal from Cam Little. If the Jags can clean things up after an uncharacteristically sloppy game, Lawrence will remain a mid-range QB1 for Week 6 versus the Texans.

Mike Florio examines the AFC North and NFC North entering Week 6 with every team boasting a winning record, a feat accomplished by an entire division just three times in NFL history.

The Jaguars offensive operation was far from clean against the Bengals; the team as a whole tallied 10 penalties for 100 yards by halftime. Lawrence was sacked four times behind a struggling offensive line but still put together an efficient game. He found Brian Thomas Jr. for the game’s first touchdown as time wound down in the first half and found tight end Brenton Strange for seven of his 18 completions. Despite a relatively pedestrian showing, Lawrence comes away with zero turnovers and the win. He will be a top-12 fantasy option for Week 5 against the Eagles in London.

Lawrence’s big statistical day could have been bigger if he hadn’t inexplicably taken a knee at the one yard line on a QB rush with about eight minutes left in the fourth quarter. Bhayshul Tuten would go on to score a rushing touchdown a few plays later. Lawrence picked apart of the New England secondary with very little pressure in his face, targeting former Patriots WR Jakobi Meyers heavily and connecting with three different pass catchers for touchdowns — including Parker Washington, who had another score called back. Lawrence, with one of the highest weekly floors in the game, will again be a top-12 QB option in Week 4 against Bengals in what should be a high-scoring game.
  • JAC Quarterback #16
The Jaguars were relatively run-heavy against Denver a week after the Broncos were shredded by Ken Walker and the Chiefs. Lawrence mostly checked down in this one, targeting Parker Washington a team-high 12 times. Brian Thomas, Jr., meanwhile, had two untimely drops, one that appeared to frustrate Lawrence. Lawrence’s interception came on a poor throw to Washington near the sideline. He’ll look to bounce back next week against a stingy New England secondary.
  • JAC Quarterback #16
It was a monstrous offensive showing from the Jaguars, led by Lawrence and his four passing touchdowns. He opened scoring with a 30-yard touchdown throw to Parker Washington in the first quarter, tossing two more scores in the first half. Lawrence flexed his mobility with a lob on the run to Jakobi Meyers for a 32-yard touchdown in the third quarter. With a comfortable lead, Lawrence rested in the fourth quarter, finishing with a whopping 0.72 EPA per play. Nick Mullens tallied three kneel-downs in relief. Liam Coen’s offense will generate many fantasy opportunities across the board, especially when operating as efficiently as it did Week 1. Lawrence built upon his solid 2025 season with an all-star showing Week 1 against the Browns and should be a low-end fantasy QB1 for Week 2 against a tougher Broncos defense.
  • JAC Quarterback #16
According to ESPN’s Michael DiRocco, Lawrence’s offseason “was about gaining a graduate-level understanding” of coach Liam Coen’s offense. Last season, Lawrence was rehabbing an injury while attempting to change his footwork and adjust to a new play caller. He is now calmer and “can play more freely the way he did in the second half of last season.” Lawrence was the overall QB1 in total scoring from Weeks 9-18. If Lawrence and his pass catchers can carry the momentum into 2026, Lawrence can once again finish as an elite QB1, this time from Week 1 onward.
  • JAC Quarterback #16
The Jaguars didn’t play any starters in last week’s preseason game against the Saints, but Coen said that because they couldn’t do a padded practice on Monday with the Panthers, he may consider playing his starters a bit on Friday in order to get some “good (players) on good (players)” facing one another. If the Jaguars do play their starters this week, it will be their only taste of preseason action, as Coen has already said he won’t be playing them in the third preseason game.

Specifically, Coen said Lawrence “did a really nice job taking care of the football,” perhaps throwing fewer than five interceptions across organized team activities and mandatory minicamp. Lawrence also performed well when “running the whole operation, managing the protections and some of the concepts on the field.” With a year of experience in Coen’s system now under his belt, Lawrence said he feels more confident going through his progressions and is doing “a lot less thinking” as plays are unfolding. Jaguars OC Grant Udinski has been impressed with Lawrence’s recall and his ability to guide teammates through concepts that the team hasn’t practiced in quite a while. Positive reports on the Jaguars’ offense continue to roll in. Lawrence warrants QB1 treatment in 2026.
  • JAC Wide Receiver #3
The Jaguars acquired Meyers via trade in Week 10 last year. He then led the Jaguars in targets (63) and receptions (43) until their season came to a close with a Wild Card Round loss to the Bills. Fellow Jaguars WRs Parker Washington and Brian Thomas Jr. have generated buzz in recent weeks, but Meyers should not be overlooked. He still has a chance to repeat as the team’s target leader this season.
  • JAC Wide Receiver #7
Lawrence found his groove after the team’s Week 8 bye, totaling 20 passing touchdowns, seven rushing touchdowns and seven interceptions. Coincidentally, Coen notes, their “average depth of target went up towards the second half of the season.” Coen wants to “keep pushing that envelope a little bit -– especially with [Lawrence] and BT.” Lawrence and Thomas have put a lot of work into trying to get their timing down this offseason, and Lawrence said, “it’s starting to pay off.” He feels like the two of them are “clicking more and more every day.” That’s great to hear. Thomas’ play dropped off significantly after an explosive rookie season, and trade rumors have swirled around him prior to the 2026 NFL Draft. If he can return to rookie season form, Thomas can smash his ADP this season.
  • PHI Quarterback #1
Jalen Hurts and the Eagles will take on the Jaguars in Jacksonville’s annual trip to London, where they are 7-7 since the 2013 regular season. Hurts, facing internal criticism this offseason following a difficult 2025 campaign, will look to get back on track in the run-heavy Philly offense that last season ranked 13th in EPA per rush, behind the Commanders and Giants. The Jaguars will look to build off a strong 2025 season, Liam Coen’s first as the team’s head coach. The Jags had the fourth best point differential last season, trailing only the Seahawks, Patriots, and Rams.

Elijah Arroyo (arm) was taken to the locker room in the second quarter of week 6 against the Broncos.

Arroyo was injured while trying to recover a Rashid Shaheed fumble in the second quarter and was promptly escorted to the locker room with trainers helping to stabilize his arm. It appeared to be a potential wrist or shoulder injury based on how the staff helped him off the field. The second-year tight end was not targeted prior to departing and appears to be on the wrong side of questionable to return to Week 6.

Brock Bowers (knee) practiced in full on Thursday.

The Raiders continue managing Bowers’ practice reps early in the week, though he plays unrestrictedly on game day. The Raiders face the Bills in Week 6, likely facilitating a fantasy-friendly game environment. Bowers should be treated as the overall TE1 as usual this week.

49ers coach Kyle Shanahan said Demarcus Robinson (ankle) has an “outside chance” to return in Week 7 against the Falcons.

The 49ers go on bye in Week 8. Shanahan says that Robinson is more likely to return after that, in time to face the Raiders in Week 9. Robinson can be stashed in injured reserve spots, if need be, but he is not a must-stash type of player. Depending on how the 49ers’ wide receiver corps looks, Robinson can likely be snagged off waivers during the bye week for those in need at the wide receiver position.

Davis Allen (foot) did not practice on Thursday.

Allen remains out, and Parkinson (shoulder) remains limited. Tyler Higbee has played productively in the Rams’ No. 1 tight end role, and he should be expected to do so again this week against the Cardinals.

Jeremiyah Love (ankle) did not practice on Thursday.

Tyler Allgeier should be rostered in 10-team leagues. The Cardinals have downplayed Love’s ankle issues, but two missed practices are not a good sign. He still has a chance to suit up in Week 6 against the Rams, but he is currently on the wrong side of questionable.

Ashton Jeanty (foot) said he is feeling “great” and “ready to go” for Week 6 against the Bills.

The quotes read a tad bit more enthusiastically than Jeanty did while speaking to media members at his locker, but this is still good to hear. Jeanty has been dealing with an ankle injury for a long time, but the team took that injury off the weekly practice report this week. He is now listed only with the foot injury after experiencing “a flare-up of plantar fasciitis” last Friday. Jeanty is a low-end RB1 against the Bills this week.

Seahawks declared LB Drake Thomas, CB Avery Smith, WR Montorie Foster Jr., DT Brandon Pili, QB Jalen Milroe, LB Chazz Surratt and RB Robert Henry inactive for Week 6 against the Broncos.

Thomas is dealing with an ankle injury and needs more time to get healthy. The Seahawks recently signed Henry, a rookie, but evidently he will not play this evening, despite the Seahawks’ running back group being a tad thin due to injuries. The Seahawks face the Broncos on Thursday Night Football.

Riley Moss (ribs) is active for Week 6 against the Seahawks.

Moss, one of the Broncos’ starting cornerbacks, returns from a one-game absence. He injured his ribs in Week 4 against the 49ers. The Broncos declared QB Sam Ehlinger, OL Kage Casey, TE Dallen Bentley, DL Jordan Jackson and DL Tyler Onyedim inactive for Week 6 against the Seahawks. Ehlinger will serve as the team’s emergency third quarterback.

Terry McLaurin (hamstring) was limited on Thursday.

McLaurin posted a 4/62 receiving line, playing through this hamstring injury in Week 5 against the Giants. Kicking off the week with a limited session is a great sign for his Week 6 availability and overall health. Expect McLaurin to be even more involved against the 49ers on Monday night.

Austin Ekeler (chest) was limited on Thursday.

Ekeler and Jacory Croskey-Merritt (groin) are both ailing, though the latter player sat out entirely. Rachaad White (shoulder) and Jeremy McNichols (quad) are both practicing in full. Croskey-Merritt is the only fantasy-relevant Commanders running back at this time, assuming he is good to go on Monday night.
