Davis Allen caught 4-of-5 targets for 20 yards and two touchdowns in the Rams’ Week 7 win against the Raiders.

The Rams in Week 7 resorted to a heavy dose of three tight end sets with Davante Adams sidelined with a long-term hamstring injury. That led to 12 pass routes for Allen, fewer than both Colby Parkinson and Tyler Higbee. He caught two red zone touchdowns from Matthew Stafford, however, seeing a look on 33 percent of his routes. Allen will be tough to trust as a fantasy option unless or until his snaps and routes increase. He could be a deep league option in Week 8 against the Chargers, however.
Taylor: CIN able to 'find a way to win' vs. TEN

Parkinson will miss at least one game with a rib injury he sustained last week against the Raiders. His absence could have a big impact on playing time for both Davis Allen — who had two touchdown grabs last week — and Tyler Higbee, the de facto TE1 in the LA offense. Both tight ends are better options against the Chargers with Parkinson sidelined.
  • LA Tight End #84
Parkinson will have one more chance to get back no the practice field Friday to avoid an injury designation entering the weekend. The veteran tight end was in and out of the team’s Week 7 game with the injury but managed to finish it, apparently feeling much worse after the adrenaline wore off. Fantasy managers of Parkinson and Tyler Higbee will want to track Parkinson’s status closely to end the week. An absence from Parkinson could also bring Davis Allen into the fantasy spotlight after the young tight end scored twice against the Raiders.
  • LA Tight End #84
Parkinson has meaningfully contributed to the Rams’ offense in each of the last two weeks, but he is now at risk of missing his team’s Week 8 game against the Chargers. Were Parkinson to sit out on Sunday, Tyler Higbee would likely benefit.
  • LA Tight End #89
It was Davis Allen who caught two of Matthew Stafford’s three touchdown tosses as the Rams leaned into heavy three tight end-set usage with Davante Adams sidelined indefinitely with a hamstring injury. Though Higbee led Rams tight ends in pass routes, his lack of red zone involvement left him out in the statistical cold. Trying to figure out which LA tight end is going to go off in a given week is going to be a continual headache for fantasy gamers in the coming weeks.
  • LA Tight End #89
Higbee lost volume to Colby Parkinson in this one. Higbee also had the ball ripped from his possession by Cardinals LB Cody Simon while trying to fall forward for extra yards on the Rams’ seventh drive, further reducing his fantasy output. With Parkinson playing well, Higbee is a shakier, low-end TE1 against the Raiders next week.
  • LA Tight End #87
He got in a limited session and the Rams apparently trust him to play despite a pair of missed practices on Wednesday and Thursday. Colby Parkinson (shoulder) also avoided the final report. Tyler Higbee is the Rams tight end you should be using at this point.
  • LA Tight End #87
Allen remains out, and Parkinson (shoulder) remains limited. Tyler Higbee has played productively in the Rams’ No. 1 tight end role, and he should be expected to do so again this week against the Cardinals.
  • LA Tight End #87
Allen is dealing with a foot injury and is listed as a DNP on the Rams’ estimated practice report. Fellow tight end Colby Parkinson (shoulder) was listed as limited, though he has been dealing with the shoulder injury for a few weeks now and the Rams are likely managing his workload. Parkinson is trending to play. Allen’s potential absence may lead to the Rams activating rookie Max Klare to play alongside Parkinson and fantasy streaming option Tyler Higbee in Week 6.
  • LA Tight End #89
Higbee continued to operate as the primary pass-catching tight end against the Bills, something that must please fantasy managers considering Colby Parkinson returned from a one-game absence. Furthermore, the team carried only three tight ends on the active game-day roster after being at either four or five through the first month of the 2026 season. Higbee is a middling TE2 in fantasy circles ahead of a juicy matchup against the divisional rival Cardinals in Week 6.
  • LA Tight End #84
Parkinson is unlikely to be startable as a TE1 if he plays on Monday night, but his return will likely reduce Tyler Higbee’s snap share. Higbee has been TE1-viable in each of the last two weeks.

Amon-Ra St. Brown caught 7-of-8 targets for 46 yards in the Lions’ Week 8 win against the Vikings.

St. Brown added ten yards on a carry, which was actually a running catch on a play in which St. Brown lined up fifteen yards behind the line of scrimmage and got a running start like you might see in the CFL. He had a touchdown catch called back in the first half and had to go to the locker room with what looked to be a knee issue. It was only the second time this season St. Brown was held to less than 60 yards. He came into Week 8 ranked fourth in expected fantasy points per game. St. Brown takes on the Bills in Week 9.

Jack Endries caught his sole target for one yard and a touchdown in the Bengals’ Week 8 win over the Titans.

Endries got his first career catch and touchdown at the goal line in the second quarter against the Titans. The 22-year-old saw 11 snaps, getting a few increased opportunities with Tanner Hudson hitting injured reserve a few weeks ago. Endries should not be rostered for fantasy purposes, but enters the scene with his first career touchdown in a win over the Titans.

Mike Gesicki caught 4-of-6 targets for 76 yards and a touchdown in the Bengals’ Week 8 win over the Titans.

Gesicki has been a high-value red zone target for the Bengals all season long. His score against the Titans came from outside of the red zone, catching a 25-yard pass for the score in the fourth quarter. It’s Gesicki’s sixth-straight game with a touchdown and seventh score of the season. Pass-heavy game scripts will lift all boats in the Bengals offense but Gesicki remains a high-end fantasy TE2 due to his high amount of touchdown opportunities.

Justice Hill rushed three times for 15 yards in the Ravens’ Week 8 loss to the Bills, adding four receptions for 20 yards on eight targets.

Hill nearly turned into a surprise PPR scam this week with rookie UDFA Joe Fagnano under center for two-and-a-half quarters of play. Hill’s eight targets led all Ravens players, but his 20 receiving yards were largely buoyed by back-to-back receptions during a two-minute drill when the Ravens were facing second and third and longs. Despite the high-volume day, it’s hard to rely on anybody in this offense, which could have dark days ahead with Lamar Jackson (thumb) out for the foreseeable future and Tyler Huntley also dealing with a toe injury.

Sam LaPorta caught 3-of-5 targets for 33 yards in the Lions’ Week 8 win against the Vikings.

LaPorta had a quiet day against a Minnesota defense that has shut down opposing tight ends for much of the season. He had at least 80 receiving yards in each of that past two Detroit games. LaPorta had been a serviceable starting tight end headed into Week 8, and should have a better outlook in Week 9 against the Bills. He’s been targeted on 18 percent of his routes on the season.

Tee Higgins caught 10-of-11 targets for 155 yards and two touchdowns in the Bengals’ Week 8 win over the Titans.

Higgins led the team in receiving yards while trailing Ja’Marr Chase in receptions and targets. He was Joe Burrow’s primary target over the middle of the field in the intermediate and deep areas. Higgins caught a pair of second half touchdowns, catching an 18-yard score to tie the game towards the end of regulation. Pass-heavy game scripts will lead to a high amount of fantasy production for Higgins and Chase, who saw a combined 56-percent target share from Joe Burrow. Higgins is a high-end WR2 for Week 9 against the Falcons.

Drake London caught 1-of-6 targets for eight yards in the Falcons’ Week 8 loss to the Bucs.

Bucs defenders caught more passes on London’s six targets than he did. It was that bad of a day. Michael Penix was intercepted four times and only completed eight attempts. He managed just 125 yards, over half of which came on a 76-yard throw to Jahan Dotson that was the result of a coverage miscue. There’s simply not much to take away from a game where London’s quarterback plays this poorly. London had gone for at least 60 yards on four catches in every previous Penix start. We fully expect him to get back on track as a WR1 versus the Bengals next week.

Mark Andrews caught 3-of-4 targets for 14 yards in the Ravens’ Week 8 loss to the Bills.

It was another day at the office for Andrews, who has now gone six straight games with 28 or fewer receiving yards. Any hope that he might see a slight increase in production with Lamar Jackson back under center can be put aside after Jackson suffered a severe injury to his throwing hand that will require surgery and force him to go on injured reserve. Andrews isn’t on the fantasy radar heading into Week 9 against the Jaguars.

Brevyn Spann-Ford caught 4-of-5 targets for 31 yards in Dallas’ Week 8 loss to Arizona.

With Jake Ferguson (ankle) felled early, Spann-Ford played 65-of-74 snaps for the Cowboys and was second on the team in targets as Dallas tried to find a solution for the blitz. Spann-Ford would likely factor into the TE2 ranks next week if Ferguson were unable to play.
