Asamoah has been one of the few bright spot spots on Kansas City’s offense this season, and is coming off an excellent game versus the Steelers. Journeyman fill-in Russ Hochstein is a clear downgrade as a run blocker.

Williams has seemingly overtaken John Metchie as the Jets’ No. 2 receiver. He has 14 catches over the past three weeks to Metchie’s eight. Williams’ late-season surge has been impressive, but it’s more impactful for his future earnings than it is for fantasy managers. He is buried in the WR5/6 range heading into the final week of the year.

Smith was injured via an illegal block during an interception return on the Raiders’ seventh drive. A Raiders offensive lineman hit the ground on the play, pinning Smith’s right foot as Giants CB Rico Payton hit Smith from the left, twisting and stressing the inside of Smith’s right knee and ankle joints. It was Smith’s second interception of the day. His first occurred on a red zone play, when he errantly threw the football to Giants LB Bobby Okereke while attempting to lead TE Michael Mayer. If Smith can face the Chiefs next week, he will be a low-end QB2. Raiders backup QB Kenny Pickett could get the start. Before exiting, Smith completed 20-of-28 passes for 176 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions. He rushed once for one yard and took three sacks for 24 yards.

Mitchell easily led the Jets in targets, racking up a 26 percent target share. He undoubtedly saw plenty of air yards as well, but Brady Cook was unable to connect with him on many of their deep shots. Cook’s only interception of the day came on a heave to Mitchell down the left sideline. Cook simply didn’t have the arm to get it to Mitchell and a New England defender fielded the ball like an outfielder. Mitchell will get one more shot at converting his air yards to receiving yards in Week 18 versus the Bills.

Demercado remained stuck in the 5-7 touch range behind fill-in starter Michael Carter. We would not expect anything to change for Week 18 against the Rams.

McLaughlin had a 55-yard field goal attempt blocked at the end of the first half. He ultimately made a 33-yard field goal in the second half and sunk both of his extra points, but the Bucs offense did not yield too many opportunities for him. McLaughlin should see a similar amount of scoring opportunities in Week 18 against the Panthers.

Otton has a fixed role as the TE1 in the Bucs’ offense. This meant the sixth-most targets on the team against the Dolphins, mostly in the short area and over the middle of the field. With Chris Godwin and Jalen McMillan also taking many of Baker Mayfield’s targets between the sticks, Otton barely has TE2 utility heading into Week 18.

With the Bengals down 13-0 early and 23-7 at halftime, there wasn’t much opportunity to establish the run, not that Carter will ever be treated as a between-the-tackles banger. Still shedding a non-trivial amount of work to Emari Demercado, Carter does not profile as a great Week 18 play against the Rams.

Davis suffered the brain injury on a kickoff at the top of the fourth quarter. He was initially listed as questionable to return. The team later ruled him out. Kene Nwangwu took his spot in the lineup. Breece Hall suffered a knee injury late in the contest as well. Nwangwu would draw the start if Davis and Hall can’t go.

With Marvin Harrison Jr. active but barely playing through his heel injury, Wilson immediately resumed posting strong fantasy lines. He’s up to five touchdowns over the past four weeks. With MHJ once again leaving today’s game and all but certain to be shut down for Week 18 against the Rams, Wilson should be in for a big statistical day as he finds himself just 93 yards shy of 1,000 on the year.

This is close to Gesicki’s standard statline when the Bengals’ offense is at full strength, which it is at the current moment. They have a rough Week 18 matchup in the Browns, meaning Gesicki probably won’t be much of a DFS play even with the usual final Sunday chicanery primed to be more insane than ever this season.
