Kirk Cousins completed 21-of-31 passes for 181 yards, one touchdown and a fumble in the Vikings’ 19-13, Week 6 win over the Bears.
Cousins struggled without star receiver Justin Jefferson in the offense. He took two sacks on the day and was hit for a fumble in the second quarter. Cousins was bailed out on another potential fumble that was ruled out of bounds, rather than recovered by Chicago. The offense was most alive at the end of the first half, where Cousins connected with Jordan Addison for a touchdown. It’s going to be a struggle for the Vikings without Jefferson, with drops and stale play from Cousins plaguing the team despite the victory. Cousins can be considered a QB2 in a Week 7 matchup against a tough 49ers defense.
