Josh Allen completed 29-of-51 passes for 339 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception in the Bills’ 37-34, Week 12 loss to the Eagles.
Allen was at his best on multiple occasions in this one. He scored on the ground from nine and 16 yards out, with his longest touchdown run coming in impressive fashion. With things breaking down around him, Allen rolled to his right and shook safety Reed Blankenship in the open field to find his way to the end zone. Allen would find Gabe Davis late in the fourth quarter for what was nearly the game-winning touchdown, but a 59-yard field goal by Jake Elliott forced overtime with less than a minute to go. Allen and the Bills started with the ball in overtime, but a few miscommunications on offense resulted forced them to settle for a field goal. The Eagles countered with a touchdown drive to seal the game, pushing the Bills to 6-6 in what has been a disappointing season thus far. The Bills get a Week 13 bye to regroup before facing the Chiefs in Week 14 in what’s quickly becoming a “must-win” game.
