Rotoworld

  • PHI Wide Receiver #11

A.J. Brown caught 5-of-9 targets for 37 yards and one touchdown in the Eagles’ Week 12 win over the Bills.
That’s back-to-back bad outings for Brown, who has caught six passes for 45 yards and one touchdown over the last two weeks. A three-yard touchdown by Brown in the third quarter will prove enough to salvage an otherwise disappointing day, but fantasy managers banking on Brown’s production will be on high alert next week. Another high-scoring affair could be on tap in Week 13 against the 49ers. Despite his struggles, Brown remains a must-start player in what we hope is a bounce-back matchup next week.
  • NO Running Back #24

Saints placed RB Devin Neal on injured reserve with a hamstring injury.
Expect Jeanty to continue struggles vs. Texans
Matthew Berry, Jay Croucher and Lawrence Jackson review the running back hate list for Week 16, including Raiders' rookie Ashton Jeanty.
  • CIN Quarterback #9
Bengals QB Joe Burrow (knee) practiced fully on Thursday.
Burrow is up to two full sessions this week. He is good to go for his team’s Week 16 game against the Dolphins, though his receiving corps could be short-staffed, with WR Tee Higgins still in the NFL’s concussion protocol. Burrow is a low-end QB1.
  • MIA Running Back #28
Dolphins RB De’Von Achane (ribs) practiced fully on Thursday.
Great news. Achane practiced fully yesterday as well. He seemingly made it through Week 15 without suffering any setbacks. The Dolphins’ featured running back is ready to rock as an elite RB1 for his matchup against the Bengals’ fantasy-friendly defense.
  • MIN Center #78
Vikings C Ryan Kelly (knee) was limited in Thursday’s practice.
As was Brian O’Neill (heel), both upgrades from a Wednesday DNP. Christian Darrisaw (knee) remains sidelined. Still, this is a good update for anyone considering playing a Viking against New York’s woeful defense on Sunday. Most of the offensive line is trending towards being up for this contest.
  • BUF Cornerback #47
Bills CB Christian Benford (toe) was limited on Thursday.
Benford injured his toe last Thursday and was unable to play on Sunday. He has since logged two limited sessions, putting him on track to play. The Browns’ wide receiver corps hardly instills fear, and the Bills have playoff aspirations. It is possible that they hold him out this week, just to play things safely.
  • BUF Tackle #73
Bills LT Dion Dawkins (illness) did not practice on Thursday.
Players typically play through illnesses, but it would be nice to see Dawkins practice tomorrow after sitting out on Wednesday and Thursday. The Bills’ offensive line is tasked with fending off the Browns’ elite pass-rush unit this week. Stay tuned.
  • WAS Running Back #36
Commanders RB Chris Rodriguez (hamstring) was not on Washington’s final Week 16 injury report.
He got in full sessions all week and should be a usable-if-unexciting FLEX play as Washington’s lead back against Philadelphia, in a game they are expected to trail in. The silver lining is that Jalen Carter (shoulders) was ruled out, so it should be easier sledding inside at least for Rodriguez. “Bill” Croskey-Merritt will likely revert to a backup role in Week 16.
  • KC Cornerback #22
Chiefs CB Trent McDuffie (knee) was limited in Thursday’s practice.
Reporters expected a DNP, but McDuffie got in a limited session officially. We still consider him at least a bit unlikely to miss Week 16’s game against the Titans, but McDuffie is at least making a play to be active.
  • ARI Wide Receiver #18
Cardinals WR Marvin Harrison Jr. (heel) was limited on Thursday.
Harrison has a chance to suit up against the Falcons this week, though it would be nice to see him practice fully on Friday. If he sits out another game, Cardinals WR Michael Wilson remains a fantasy football WR1. If Harrison returns, both players drop to the WR3 ranks.
  • TEN Tight End #84
Titans TE Gunnar Helm (toe) was limited in Thursday’s practice.
Helm has put together back-to-back limited practices and seems likely to go on Sunday against the Chiefs. He’ll be smack dab in the middle of the TE2 ranks for that matchup.
