Siemian was set up nicely today as the Jets’ defense got multiple turnovers early to aid the offense. He capitalized early hitting Jason Brownlee for an eight-yard touchdown. In the second half Siemian was rather conservative throwing as the Jets gave up a 27-7 lead. Siemian drove the team back down for a game-winning field goal.

Graff said Henderson has been by far the most explosive Patriots offensive player in offseason practices, adding that the rookie’s “development as a runner between the tackles will go a long way toward determining his success.” Graff said Henderson, the 38th pick in the 2025 draft, “probably won’t have to do a ton of [between the tackles running], particularly if Stevenson gets the majority of the early-down carries. But for this draft pick to be worth it, Henderson needs to improve as a between-the-tackles rusher as he presumably takes on a bigger role in the years to come.” Even if Henderson doesn’t take on a three-down role in the New England offense, he should have every chance to usurp Stevenson — one of the league’s least efficient rushers — as the team’s primary back in 2025.

This is not all that different than late May’s update that McVay gave when he said the Rams were making “healthy and positive progress” on said extension. Williams will likely sign an extension later this summer if the tenor of the two parties is to be believed at this point.

He did respond to a media member saying John Harbaugh’s idea of Jackson being the NFL’s highest-paid player by noting “it sounds good.” It’s not thoroughly surprising that Jackson is not forthcoming about the status of negotiations with the Ravens. Corbin, 24, led the UFL in rushing in 2025 with 514 yards. Corbin has bounced around between the Giants and Panthers the previous two seasons after coming out in the 2022 class. He went undrafted. Corbin figures to be a deep backup who won’t be worthy of fantasy attention without several injuries in front of him. To make room, the Falcons waived RB Jase McClellan, who the team drafted in the sixth round last year. McClellan had just 19 offensive snaps in his rookie season and was only active for two games.

The third-year tight end missed several games last season due to a personal issue and spent the offseason being a rumored trade target. Mayer obviously won’t cut deeply into Brock Bowers’ snap share, but he has a chance to cut into Tre Tucker and Jack Bech’s playing time if the Raiders feel that Mayer is one of their best eleven. “I think Mike’s been outstanding,” Raiders OC Chip Kelly told reporters before noting that “I checked, you can play with two tight ends in a game at the same time, and sometimes you can play with three tight ends they told me. So, maybe we can get to that if we have to.”

With the Chiefs drafting Josh Simmons in the first round in April, Silver believes Simmons has a chance to take a starting job away from Taylor this offseason. Our last two blurbs on Taylor are “Taylor could be a backup” and “Taylor’s odds of being on the 2026 roster are not high,” which is never the trend you want to see when you have a $27.3 million cap hit in 2026. It appears the Chiefs are ready to wash their hands of Taylor’s contract sooner rather than later.

His deal was set to expire after the 2025 season, but Phillips tacks another year on to it. The 46-year-old was not a hot coaching candidate at any point this offseason and does not call plays on game day. Perhaps another year in the Kevin O’Connell halo — particularly one that paints J.J. McCarthy in a great light — will help Phillips gain some head-coaching interviews next offseason.

Stop us if you’ve heard this story before, but an unheralded and undersized slot wideout is turning heads in New England’s camp. Chism has head coach praise quotes (Mike Vrabel praised the 23-year-old as “a talented player” who is dedicated and “studied extremely hard”) and looked good in the team’s early offseason OTAs and camps. New England’s wideout room has enough depth that we’re hesitant to say Chism is even a lock to make the roster, but he’s someone to monitor as we look forward to training camps in August.

Zrebiec is not forecasting a major role growth for Walker, who is stuck behind Zay Flowers, Rashod Bateman, and DeAndre Hopkins in three-wide sets. But it’s possible that Walker comes to training camp and turns heads. Walker’s roster spot, if anything, looks fairly secure at this point in time. Walker played 57 offensive snaps last year and caught a 21-yard touchdown in three targets.
