Breece Hall rushed 37 times for 178 yards and a touchdown in the Jets’ Week 18 win over the Patriots, adding two receptions for 12 yards.
It was a new career high for rushing for the electric second-year pro, surpassing his previous personal best from Week 5 by one yard. It also brought him just six shy of 1,000 on the year. He’ll surely lament the missed six yards, but Hall ended the season as the Jets’ “lone bright spot” with his renewed vigor on the ground and career-best stretch as a pass-catcher. There are no longer any doubts about his health, versatility, or capability to handle big workloads on the ground. Aaron Rodgers’, shall we say, “arcane” preferences are an offseason wild card, but Hall should enter 2024 with little competition for backfield touches. He is certainly looking like a fantasy first-rounder.
