Rotoworld

  • NO Wide Receiver #15
Personalize your Rotoworld feed by favoriting players
Saints WR Mason Tipton (illness) is questionable to play in Week 16 against the Jets.
Tipton missed the Saints’ last two practices. Players typically play through illnesses, but he appears to be truly questionable. Were he to sit out, it would leave the Saints with only WRs Chris Olave, Kevin Austin Jr. and Dante Pettis on the active roster. Olave should handle a significant target share, per usual.
  • MIN Running Back #27
Personalize your Rotoworld feed by favoriting players
Vikings RB Jordan Mason (ankle) practiced fully on Thursday.
With RB Aaron Jones (hip) sidelined by a hip injury, Mason has a chance to start. Vikings No. 3 RB Zavier Scott would likely play in passing situations, if this is indeed, the case. Mason would be on the RB3/FLEX radar. The Vikings face the playoff-bound Packers in Week 18.
Can Nabers be counted on coming off knee injury?
Matthew Berry, Jay Croucher and Connor Rogers share if Trey McBride should be a first-round pick in fantasy next year, how Malik Nabers could play with Jaxson Dart and why Justin Jefferson can still be a weapon in 2026.
  • MIN Running Back #33
Vikings RB Aaron Jones (hip) did not practice on Thursday.
Jones has played through myriad injuries this season, so even with two absences, he still has a chance to play. That said, it would make sense for the Vikings to shut him down. Jones is 31 years old and remains under contract in 2026. His backup, RB Jordan Mason (ankle), upgraded to full participation today. He would start in Jones’ stead if the veteran player cannot go.

    Harold Fannin
    CLE Tight End #44
Browns TE Harold Fannin (groin) did not practice on Thursday.
Fannin was unsure of his potential availability when asked about it following Sunday’s win and doesn’t appear likely to play. David Njoku (knee/NIR-personal), as well, remained out. It looks to be wheels up for Blake Whiteheart and Sal Cannella szn in Week 18, though we will check in on Friday to be sure.
  • MIN Quarterback #9
Vikings QB J.J. McCarthy (hand) practiced fully on Thursday.
McCarthy’s rehab continues to progress. He is on track to start one final time this season. McCarthy’s accuracy and decision-making have left something to be desired this season, but he can sometimes scramble his way to fantasy success, keeping him on the QB1/2 borderline.
  • DET Wide Receiver #14
Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown (knee/ankle) was limited in Thursday’s practice.
It’s an upgrade from a Wednesday DNP. St. Brown will have some re-injury/blowout risk on Sunday if he just isn’t able to gut it out in a meaningless game against the Bears, but he appears to be trending towards playing. He likely belongs on the WR1 line if he is able to play, though perhaps as more of a mid-range option given the potential of a mid-game shutdown.
  • PIT Linebacker #90
Steelers EDGE T.J. Watt (lung) was limited on Thursday.
Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin previously said Watt needs to get in a week of full practices before being cleared. His limited participation is encouraging, but he is not yet guaranteed to suit up on game day, which means Watt may have played his last snap of the season already. The Steelers (9-7) and Ravens (8-8) are playing for a trip to the postseason on Sunday.
  • PHI Quarterback #16
Eagles QB Tanner McKee will start Philadelphia’s Week 18 game against the Commanders.
McKee threw for 269 yards and two touchdowns in Philadelphia’s Week 18 win over the Giants at the end of the 2024 season. We’d expect similar numbers against the Commanders in a game that will have a preseason feel. McKee is probably a startable QB2 play in superflex leagues, in a game that may be an audition as trade bait this offseason as there sure seems to be plenty of empty starting roles as compared to the number of rookie quarterbacks available to fill them.
  • PIT Wide Receiver #19
Steelers WR Calvin Austin (hamstring) was limited on Thursday.
Austin has a chance to return this week, but it would be nice to see him upgrade his participation level. The speedy receiver is needed with No. 1 WR DK Metcalf suspended this week. The Steelers (9-7) take on the Ravens (8-8) this week, and the winner advances to the postseason.
  • ATL Wide Receiver #1
Falcons WR Darnell Mooney (knee) was limited in Thursday’s practice.
He was a new addition to the injury report. The last thing Mooney needed was another ailment to battle through after his collarbone injury in the preseason has largely left him ineffective this season. He’ll be tough to trust even in a WR5/WR6 role against the Saints.
  • ATL Tight End #8
Falcons TE Kyle Pitts (knee) was limited in Thursday’s practice.
Pitts sees a second-straight limited session to open the week. He’s still in line to play in Week 18 and should remain on the TE1 line, but expectations should not be “Buccaneers on Thursday Night” level high for Pitts given how often he’s appeared on the report with this injury listing the last few weeks.
