Wolff, 23, has played three years on the PGA Tour, turning pro in 2019 after winning the individual title at the NCAA Championships that year as a sophomore at Oklahoma State. He captured his first and won the PGA Tour’s 3M Open in just his third event. Other notable results include a T-4 at the 2020 PGA Championship, his first start in a major, and a solo second at the 2020 U.S. Open at Winged Foot. But he’s struggled over the past two seasons: Wolff took two months off from golf in 2021 to focus on his mental health. He’s missed the cut in seven of his 16, but he notched two top 10s, finishing second at the Shriners Children’s Open and T-5 at Mayakoba. Most recently, he finished T-40 at the Travlers and is ranked No. 77 in the Official World Golf Ranking. Ortiz, ranked No. 119, has one PGA Tour win, at the 2020 Houston Open. On Sunday, Chacarra wrote on Twitter that he’d “received an opportunity I could not turn down,” adding, “It is one of those trains that pass once in a lifetime.”

  • The Oklahoma State standout currently ranks 4th in the World Amateur Golf Rankings. He recently announced his intentions to stay another year at Stillwater, despite his stellar standings in the PGA TOUR University rankings. While there is no denying his talent and potential, he has yet to impress in a pro event. Lopez-Chacarra went 0-for-3 on the DP World Tour back in 2019 and went 1-for-2 with a T45 at the Sanderson Farms Championship last fall. The youngster should be arriving with a full confidence tank after winning twice this spring in college events. Weekly gamers may want to give him a look if they need some salary savings with upside potential at the Wells Fargo.

  • Playing on a sponsor exemption, the 21-year-old Spaniard comes into the week fifth on the PGA Tour University standings, where the top five at the end of the collegiate season will earn Korn Ferry Tour status for the summer. Lopez-Chacarra recently was T-45 in the Sanderson Farms Championship, where he carded three rounds in the 60s and finished at 10-under 278 (12 shots back of winner Sam Burns). Last year as a junior at Oklahoma State, he was a first-team All-American and the Big 12 Newcomer of the Year. He posted five top-three finishes in the spring semester including a T-3 at the NCAA Stillwater Regional, and Lopez-Chacarra also finished T-8 at the NCAA Championship. This fall as a senior, he helped Oklahoma State to a win at the Carmel Cup in September, finishing T-6 individually, and he also finished with a 4-1 mark at the Big 12 Match Play, where OSU placed fourth. Lopez-Chacarra missed the cut in the 2020 Mayakoba after shooting 70-74 at El Camaleon Golf Club.

  • The Wake Forest sophomore has picked up some European Tour reps this season with starts at the Andalucia Masters, Omega European Masters, and KLM Open. He missed the cut in all three but it’s nice to know that he won’t be completely starstruck this week when he arrives at El Camaleon Golf Club. Playing on a sponsor’s invite, the 19-year-old from Spain sits at 17th in the World Amateur Golf Ranking and he’s climbed as high at 10th on that list. There is no need for gamers to invest in any format but he is a potential up-and-comer that might be fun to track on the leaderboard.
