A’s left-hander Drew Pomeranz, who exited Monday’s start in the fifth inning with shoulder soreness, has been placed on the disabled list with a sprained AC joint.
Pomeranz has a 3.13 ERA in 112 innings for the A’s since they acquired him from the Rockies for left-hander Brett Anderson last offseason, but he’s had trouble staying healthy and his control has often been shaky.
Pomeranz indicated after leaving Monday’s game that he’s been dealing with shoulder issues for a while now. There’s no timetable yet for his return.
