In doing some Internet sleuthing, Chris Creamer of SportsLogos.net found a Facebook post by Ebbets Field Flannels, which was “quickly deleted":

“Doing some informal consulting for the Seattle Mariners on their 2014 uniforms. They are going creme instead of white for the home (we love it). We are gently pushing for them to lose the teal and adapt old gold as the secondary color after navy.”

Creamer points out that the color scheme would be similar to that of the Seattle Pilots in 1969, before they moved to Milwaukee to become the Brewers. The Mariners debuted in 1977 and also used a similar color scheme until rebranding in 1993.
