Giants signed RHP Omar Javier to a minor league contract.
Javier posted an ugly 1.73 WHIP and 64/56 K/BB ratio in 94 innings this past summer between two different independent league teams. He’s doubtful to climb his way to San Francisco at any point in the near future.
