    Evan Eschmeyer is expected to decide this week whether his chronic knee problems will force him to retire.
    If the Mavs could then reach a buyout agreement with Tariq Abdul-Wahad, the roster would be down to 15, meaning Dan Dickau would make the team.

    The 29-year-old Eschmeyer just couldn’t overcome his knee problems. He finishes his career having averaged 2.8 points and 3.9 rebounds in 153 games over four seasons.
