The last time we saw Baron Davis on an NBA court it was the 2011-12 season, and he played an unimpressive 29 games for the New York Knicks. He’s sat out three full seasons since then, working off the court with the Knicks, making video spoofs, being abducted by aliens, and planning an NBA comeback.

Wait... what was that?

Yes, at age 36 he is still thinking about an NBA comeback, he told Jared Zwerling of Bleacher Report.

I will confess a bias here — Davis has long been a favorite of mine. Off and on the court, and when he is focused on it he could ball with the best point guards in the NBA.

That said, this is about as likely to happen as Keanu Reaves becoming a Broadway Star. Davis’ work ethic has never been his strongest attribute and his body was starting to betray him. Maybe he has some NBA games still in him, I’d love to think so, but no way there is 20 minutes a night there.
