Why did New Orleans Pelicans rookie Buddy Hield punch Sacramento Kings star DeMarcus Cousins below the belt on Sunday night? This is the main question I have after watching slow motion video of Hield throwing his fist where it didn’t belong.

This game did have a contentious first half. Cousins was assessed a technical after smacking Donatas Motiejunas in the face as the two wrestled for position in the first quarter. One more earns him another suspension:
