The Warriors are 15-0, matching the best-ever start by an NBA team.

Golden State can break its tie with the 1948-49 Washington Capitols and 1993-94 Houston Rockets tomorrow against the 2-11 Lakers.

Can the Lakers actually stop this train?

Kobe Bryant, via Baxter Holmes of ESPN:

“I’ve seen stranger things happen,” Bryant said Sunday after his team’s 107-93 loss to the Portland Trail Blazers at Staples Center here. “We’ve been playing like s---. We might go up there and we might play like gangbusters up there. You never know. “

The Lakers have been playing like s---, because they’re a s---ty team. Their output is not an aberration.

But it’s a long season. S---ty teams can beat good, even historically great, teams.

The the 48-49 Capitols lost their 16th game by 16 to the Indianapolis Jets, who entered 3-13. It happens.

So, Kobe is right. Stranger things have happened.

But not many.
