Carmelo Anthony has been an iffy shooter this season. He’s shooting 42 percent from the field, 35 percent from 3-point range, and the New York Knicks keep tumbling down the Eastern Conference standings, now fully outside the race for the No. 8 spot.
Mix in the whole Derrick Rose disappearing fiasco, and you’ve got some cause for unrest for the fans at MSG, who see their best player as Kristaps Porzingis and not a lot of help developing him.
That’s probably why, when Anthony airballed a long 3-pointer over Chicago Bulls center Robin Lopez on Thursday, they just straight up decided to boo him.
