Gordon Hayward hits the game-winner to drop the Kings (VIDEO)

The Kings led the Jazz by 13 points with eight and a half minutes to play, but funny things tend to happen in Utah, especially to a team that’s now 3-9 on the season with the worst record in the Western Conference.

This game-ending play was one of them, as Gordon Hayward somehow finds himself wide open for an uncontested look at a 20-footer, which he knocked down effortlessly to give his team the come-from-behind win.

Al Jefferson’s big screen on Tyreke Evans certainly helped free Hayward here. But when the best shooter Utah had on the floor is coming off a curl in an obvious attempt to go get the ball, Sacramento’s defenders should have been waiting for him at the spot, not chasing him out there and being about five steps too late in doing so.
