Nobody is going to confuse this with a hockey fight, but in the NBA it led to four technical fouls.
Midway through the fourth quarter of the Wizards’ eventual win over the Magic, Kelly Oubre went up for the dunk and Bismack Biyombo blocked it — and got called for the blocking foul. As they walked away Oubre gave Biyombo a little shove, Biyombo gave a shove back, and then there were a lot of words. A lot of sound and fury signifying nothing.
Magic guard Evan Fournier and Wizards guard Bradley Beal each also picked up a technical for stepping into the situation and not exactly calming things down.
Not sure we’ll see a fine out of this, it was pretty minor, although predicting the NBA’s fines is like playing roulette.
