Zach Randolph has said he wants to stay in Memphis, but it seems less and less likely that’s going to happen.
Memphis has basically no cap space, and they still have to lock up JaMychal Green – which absolutely should be their priority (they need more young, athletic guys like him). They don’t have much money left for Zach Randolph or Tony Allen, which could mean the end of the grit n’ grind era in Memphis.
However, the 36-year-old Randolph has teams still interested, reports David Aldridge of TNT and NBA.com.

For all those teams, he would come off the bench and be asked to score and grab boards — things he can still do. He averaged 14.1 points and 8.2 rebounds a game for the Grizzlies last season, and while his skills are declining he’s still an above average, efficient player when he’s on the court.
The question is how much will teams pay him, and for how many years. He made $10.4 million a year ago and that likely falls a little, but he should still be north of $8 million. I’d be surprised if a team gave him more than two years.
