At some point this week, the NBA is expected to release the full schedule for the 2016-17 regular season, including their much-anticipated slate of Christmas games. According to The Ringer’s Kevin O’Connor, one of those matchups will feature the Knicks and Celtics, both of whom made headline-grabbing moves this summer.

The Celtics, of course, signed Al Horford, the second-biggest free agent on the market this summer, after getting a meeting with Kevin Durant. The Knicks traded for Derrick Rose and signed Joakim Noah, Courtney Lee and Brandon Jennings. Traditionally, the NBA likes to showcase big markets on Christmas, and both of these ones are now relevant enough to be worth showing.
