Lemon has been working with the first-team offense, and this is all broadly encouraging for the idea that he can be a viable fantasy receiver in his rookie season. Lemon missed a chunk of offseason activities with a hamstring injury but it looks like he’s making a good mark early in training camp. He’s currently coming off the board just inside the top 40 wideouts on most sites by ADP.

Dickerson, a second-round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, denied reports that he considered retirement this offseason. “I’m not sure where you guys got that from,” he said. Dickerson, who turns 28 in September, said he’s not really concerned about the toll playing takes on his body. He also admitted he “probably shouldn’t have went out and played” last season after needing meniscus surgery so close to the start of Week 1. Dickerson’s rethinking his approach to pushing through injuries as he has in the past.

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport said Greenard, who suffered the injury recently while lifting weights, “should be back soon.” Barring any setbacks, Greenard — who was acquired from the Vikings in a trade this offseason — should be OK for the start of the regular season. The Eagles and Vikings in April agreed to a four-year, $100 million extension that ties Greenard to the Eagles through 2029 and guarantees the linebacker $50 million. Greenard’s 13.5 percent pressure rate in 12 games in 2025 ranked seventh among all linebackers.

After the smoke seemed to say that the Eagles were reluctant to sign Carter to a market-setting extension, GM Howie Roseman swoops in and does a deal right as training camp is open instead. Carter looked like a shell of himself at times towards the end of last season as he dealt with surgery on both of his shoulders, but this is a sensible extension assuming that the shoulders aren’t set to be a long-term problem. He was clearly the best lineman on the defense in 2024 and the Eagles clearly expect that sort of play going forward.

It’s no surprise that Smith is expected to see more work in 2026. The team traded A.J. Brown to New England in the offseason and Makai Lemon won’t replace all of his vacated production as a rookie. All reports from the offseason have suggested that the Eagles believe Smith is ready to be a true No. 1 receiver, including these quotes from Sirianni. He noted that every time Smith has seen an uptick in opportunities, he’s taken advantage of them. As the top target-earner on an offense that should rebound this year, Smith has a chance at WR1 numbers if things break his way in 2026.

Johnson is a former undrafted free agent out of Oregon, spending his rookie 2025 season with the Eagles. He was primarily on the practice squad, appearing in three games and tallying three combined tackles for Philadelphia. After getting waived last month, the Seahawks add Johnson as cornerback depth ahead of training camp. Tight end Harrison Bryant was waived in a corresponding move.

To say the least, it’s going to be hard for the Eagles to recoup major draft capital in a trade for McKee if he can’t beat out an Andy Dalton who looked extremely washed last offseason. The backup quarterback battle updates in July will continue until morale improves.

According to the Tredyffrin Township Police Department, Barkley’s home was broken into shortly after 5:00 AM EST on Saturday, but suspects had already left the location by the time authorities arrived. Barkley and his family were home at the time of the break-in but were thankfully unharmed. No arrests have been made at this time, and the incident remains under investigation. Barkley is expected to report to training camp next week.

Lemon has been sidelined with a hamstring injury for most of the offseason, but the 20th overall pick of this year’s draft is preparing to be a full go when the Eagles first take the practice field on July 29th. Lemon is expected to take on a big role in his first season after the Eagles traded A.J. Brown to the Patriots last month, but whether or not that translates into a breakout rookie campaign is to be determined. DeVonta Smith has been the talk of the offseason for the Eagles and is expected to command a significant portion of the targets in his first season as the WR1, and Philly has been among the most run-heavy teams in the league since signing Saquon Barkley in 2024. Given his time away, the camp reports on Lemon will be one to keep an eye on as this will be our first real look at him since his last season at USC.

ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler spoke with NFL coaches and front office officials about the league’s best running backs. Barkley ranked third behind Bijan Robinson and Jahmyr Gibbs. “My only criticism is that he doesn’t always produce when things aren’t completely clean,” an NFL coordinator said of Barkley, adding that Barkley should be treated as a three-down back. “That’s dating back to the Giants. Tends to need things perfectly set up for him.” This could explain why Barkley had a disappointing 2025 campaign in an Eagles offense that struggled to move the ball for much of the season. Barkley, who is widely expected to have a bigger role in the Philadelphia passing offense in 2026, last season ranked 45th out of 60 qualifying backs in yards after contact per rush, alongside Woody Marks and Breece Hall. Tank Bigsby, Barkley’s backfield mate, led the NFL in yards after contact per attempt.
