Brian Daboll remains in the mix for the head coaching job in Las Vegas.
Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that Daboll completed a second interview for the job on Tuesday. Bills offensive coordinator Joe Brady and Broncos quarterbacks coach/pass game coordinator Davis Webb had second interviews with the team on Monday.
All three coaches have also interviewed for the Bills’ head coaching job. Panthers defensive coordinator Ejiro Evero has also interviewed with the Raiders multiple times.
Daboll was fired by the Giants during the 2025 season after going 20-40-1 as their head coach. He is expected to be a candidate for offensive coordinator positions if he does not land one of the head coaching jobs still available.

Broncos quarterbacks coach/pass game coordinator Davis Webb had his second interview with the Raiders on Monday night.
The Raiders announced the completion of that interview. It was their second of the day as they also had their second meeting with Bills offensive coordinator Joe Brady.
Webb also interviewed with the Bills for the first time on Monday and Brady has also met with his employers about succeeding Sean McDermott. The Cardinals and Browns are the only other teams currently looking for a new head coach.
The Raiders also had a second interview with Panthers defensive coordinator Ejiro Evero and they interviewed former Giants head coach Brian Daboll last weekend. Seahawks offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak had a virtual interview with the team earlier this month and could have a second interview this week, but there’s been no word of one being on the schedule at this point.
Buffalo interviewed Rams passing game coordinator Nate Scheelhaase on Monday night, the team announced.
That brings their total to nine candidates for their head coaching search.
Scheelhaase, 35, joined the Rams’ staff in 2024. Since then, the Rams have ranked third in pass yards per game and fifth in points per game.
He coached at Iowa State from 2018-23, working his way up from running backs coach his first season to offensive coordinator in 2023.
Scheelhaase completed his second interview with the Browns on Monday.
The Bills also have Colts defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo, Bills offensive coordinator Joe Brady, former Giants head coach Brian Daboll, Commanders run game coordinator, Jaguars offensive coordinator Grant Udinski, Dolphins defensive coordinator Anthony Weaver and Broncos quarterbacks coach Davis Webb under consideration for the job.
Rams pass game coordinator Nate Scheelhaase has wrapped up his second interview with the Browns for their head coaching vacancy.
Scheelhaase had his first interview with the team on January 16 and the second meeting had to wait until after the Rams participated in the NFC Championship Game. Sunday’s 31-27 loss to the Seahawks freed Scheelhaase up for an in-person interview, which the Browns announced on Monday evening, and the Browns could also hire him now that the Rams’ season is over.
If that happens, Scheelhaase will pass on the opportunity to interview for the Bills’ head coaching job. Word of their request to interview Scheelhaase came while he was meeting with the Browns on Monday.
The Browns have already seen several candidates pull their names from consideration for the job and they’ll have to continue the search process if they don’t come to an agreement with Scheelhaase.
The Raiders continued their second round of interviews for their head coaching job on Monday.

Brady has interviewed for several head coaching jobs this month, although the ones in Buffalo and Arizona are the only others outside of Las Vegas that remain open at this point.
Brady took over as Buffalo’s offensive coordinator when Ken Dorsey was fired during the 2023 season. He was the quarterbacks coach before that promotion and has also served as the Panthers’ offensive coordinator.
Rams pass game coordinator Nate Scheelhaase may have options in his head-coaching job search.
Scheelhaase, who is considered a strong candidate for the Browns’ head-coaching job, is also a candidate for the Bills job.
The Bills have requested an interview with Scheelhaase, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.
If both teams are interested, the Bills would seem to be the better job for Scheelhaase, a former Illinois quarterback who has developed a reputation as a good coach of quarterbacks and would surely would love the opportunity to work with Josh Allen.
The 35-year-old Scheelhaase became an assistant coach at Illinois after playing there, and later became offensive coordinator at Iowa State before spending the last two years with the Rams. He’s now viewed as one of the best young coaches in football, and a good prospect to be a head coach. Perhaps a coach viewed as a top prospect by more than one team.
Two new tight ends were added to the AFC Pro Bowl roster on Monday.
Dalton Kincaid of the Bills and Tyler Warren of the Colts will now be headed to San Francisco for next week’s festivities. They replace Travis Kelce of the Chiefs and Brock Bowers of the Raiders.
Kincaid had 39 catches for 571 yards and five touchdowns for the Bills this season. He also had nine catches for 111 yards and two touchdowns. It’s the first time he has been selected for the Pro Bowl.
Warren was a first-round pick last year and led all rookies with 76 catches in the regular season. He picked up 817 yards and four touchdowns on those receptions.
Broncos quarterbacks coach and pass game coordinator Davis Webb has finished an interview with the Bills for their head coaching vacancy.
The team announced the completion of the interview on Monday afternoon. It’s the first time that Webb has spoken to the Bills since they fired Sean McDermott last week and he was able to take the interview because the Broncos’ season ended with Sunday’s 10-7 loss to the Patriots.
Webb has been on Sean Payton’s staff in Denver for the last three seasons and he’s generated a lot of buzz as a head coaching candidate this month. Webb is also set for a second interview with the Raiders this week.
Webb played three seasons for the Bills as a backup to Josh Allen, who is also one of his closest friends. That would be an unusual relationship for a head coach and starting quarterback to have in the NFL, but the Bills could decide it is the right path for them to take after their latest playoff letdown.
The Chargers have made it official: Mike McDaniel is their new offensive coordinator.
While McDaniel has been expected to become Los Angeles’ offensive coordinator since the middle of last week, the team had yet to confirm the news as McDaniel was still up for head coaching jobs.
But after withdrawing from consideration for Buffalo’s job, it became clear that McDaniel was going to put pen to paper with the Chargers.
McDaniel, 42, had been head coach of the Dolphins, accumulating a 35-33 regular-season record with an 0-2 postseason record before he was fired earlier this month.
While Miami finished at No. 1 in yards and No. 2 in points scored in 2023, the club fell to No. 26 and No. 25 in those same categories in 2025.
After working with the No. 5 overall pick of the 2020 draft in Tua Tagovailoa, McDaniel will now call plays for the No. 6 overall pick of that same draft, Justin Herbert.
Grant Udinski will not be the next Browns head coach.
According to multiple reports, Udinski has withdrawn from consideration from Cleveland’s vacancy after agreeing to a new deal to remain Jacksonville’s offensive coordinator.
However, Udinski will still be able to pursue the Bills’ head coaching vacancy.
Udinski, 30, had interviewed with the Browns twice and was reportedly considered a finalist for the position.
Cleveland’s known remaining candidates include the team’s defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz, former Ravens offensive coordinator Todd Monken, Commanders run game coordinator Anthony Lynn, and Rams passing game coordinator Nate Scheelhaase.
The Browns’ brass is reportedly in Los Angeles on Monday to interview Scheelhaase in person after the Rams fell in Sunday’s NFC Championship Game.
Cleveland fired head coach Kevin Stefanski after six seasons earlier this month. Stefanski has since been named Falcons head coach.
