The Patriots listed their inactive players via a Twitter posting mentioning last names only.
One of the names listed is “Thomas.”
It didn’t register that they have only one Thomas: Adalius.
Ian Rapoport of the Boston Herald pointed out the fact that Thomas is a healthy scratch. Thomas did not appear on this week’s injury report.
A big-money free agent addition in 2007, the move could be a sign that the Pats are dangling Thomas in the hopes of getting help at another position. Or to simply continue to pile up 2010 draft picks.
