The Bears are unveiling a big-play offense today in St. Louis.
With 10 minutes to go in the second quarter, Bears quarterback Jay Cutler has completed 12 of 15 passes for 233 yards, with three touchdowns and no interceptions. That adds up to a perfect passer rating of 158.3.
Cutler has an 87-yard touchdown pass to Zach Miller and an 83-yard touchdown pass to Jeremy Langford, both of whom already have 100 receiving yards on the day. It’s been an outstanding game for the Bears’ passing attack.
Rams running back Todd Gurley had an excellent 31-yard catch-and-run and scored a touchdown on the Rams’ first possession, but since then the Bears’ defense has done a nice job of slowing Gurley down. The Bears lead 24-10, and the Rams will need more from Gurley to come back in the second half.
