Bills running back LeSean McCoy had a big day, and the Bills pulled away from the overmatched Browns Sunday to win, 33-13.
McCoy ran for 153 yards and a pair of second-half touchdowns. McCoy’s second touchdown was the Bills’ 27th rushing touchdown of the season, tying a franchise record.
The Bills ran for 280 yards and three touchdowns, executing their simple game plan. The Browns came into the game ranked 31st in scoring defense, total yards allowed and rush defense.
In the first half McCoy had 91 rushing yards and the Browns had 90 total yards.
The Bills racked up 29 first downs and 451 total yards. Mike Gillislee also ran for a touchdown, and Tyrod Taylor threw one to Charles Clay to make it 17-3 late in the first half. Robert Griffin III ran for the Browns’ only touchdown of the day. Griffin threw for 196 yards and was sacked five times.
The Browns are 0-14 and down to two chances to win a game, next Saturday at home vs. the Chargers and Jan. 1 at Pittsburgh.
The Bills are 7-7.
