C.J. Stroud threw his 16th touchdown of the season in the first quarter Sunday. It has drawn the Texans even with the Cardinals 7-7.
Stroud hit tight end Dalton Schultz for a 20-yard score. It was Schultz’s fifth touchdown of the season, tying the number he had last season with the Cowboys. Eight is Schultz’s career high for touchdowns in a season.
Stroud is 6-of-10 for 89 yards.
The Texans reached the Arizona 15 on their first drive but turned it over on downs after being stopped on fourth-and-two.
