Chiefs running back Larry Johnson missed last week’s game because of an NFL suspension and the two games before that because the team benched him. But he’ll be back on the field Sunday against the Saints. Adam Schefter of NFL Network confirms that Johnson is back in the Chiefs’ plans now that his discipline for various off-field incidents is behind him. Per Schefter, the Chiefs plan to give Johnson a relatively light workload of about 10 to 15 carries, although that will be determined over the course of the game. Johnson has had a couple of big games this season, racking up 121 yards on 24 carries against the Falcons and 198 yards on 28 carries against the Broncos. But he’s also had some clunkers, including a horrendous seven carries for two yards in his most recent game, October 5 against the Panthers.
