The Saints award their players Super Bowl rings on Wednesday night, but Drew Brees knows what to expect. That’s because he helped design the ring, unlike his teammates.
“Receiving the ring is almost like it sets it in stone. It symbolizes it,” Brees told the New Orleans Times-Picayune. “Every time you look at it, it reminds you of all those memories.”
We don’t know what Brees knows about ring design, but somehow we’re confident he’d get things right.
The Saints’ ceremony is private, although players will talk with reporters on their way in and out of the event. It’s probably not the place for Reggie Bush to talk publicly about the USC sanctions for the first time.
