We’re continuing to hear that veteran quarterback Jeff Garcia will be heading for Oakland. We first reported the link Saturday night; Phil Barber of the Santa Rosa Press-Democrat reports that the move could happen as soon as Monday. On Sunday, we heard that Garcia has been advised by multiple league insiders to take the offer and play for the Raiders, due in large part to the fact that it’s his best current option. The only other choice would be to sit and wait for a starting quarterback to get injured. But when does that ever happen?
