The Colts released their first injury report of the week on Wednesday, which revealed that three members of their defense missed practice.
Cornerback Greg Toler is the most significant of those players. Toler, who started and played a normal workload in last Sunday’s victory over the Bengals, sat out of practice with a knee injury and coach Chuck Pagano termed his status day-to-day heading into the divisional round date with the Broncos.
Pagano said linebacker Henoc Muamba (back) was also day-to-day. Linebacker D’Qwell Jackson also missed practice, but it was just a rest day for the veteran. Linebacker Jerrell Freeman (abdomen), center Jonotthan Harrison (concussion), linebacker Andrew Jackson (hamstring) and linebacker Erik Walden (knee) were all limited participants.
The Broncos worked out on Monday with almost the entire team on the practice field and things were even better this time. Guard Orlando Franklin and safety David Bruton both participated after missing Monday’s workout and linebacker Brandon Marshall, who is recovering from a knee injury, was the only player limited.
