It will cost a bit more to watch the Jets play at MetLife Stadium in 2016.

The Jets announced Tuesday that they will be raising season ticket prices by an average of “about four percent” for their home slate next season. Per the team, that’s an average about $5 per ticket for non-premium seats or a $1 for each of the five playoff-less seasons that have gone by since the Jets last bumped up the cost of going to watch the team.

“We very much appreciate the commitment to the team and understand the investment that our fans make to attend our games,” Jets President Neil Glat said in a statement. “We’re looking forward to the 2016 season and building on the exciting gameday experience and home field advantage that our fans created last year.”

The bump will help the Jets increase revenue in 2016. They won’t be able to use any increase to bolster their chances of signing impending free agents like Muhammad Wilkerson, Damon Harrison and Ryan Fitzpatrick, so the $12 million jump in the salary cap will have to suffice on that front.
